The new, 11/19 AMA led to previews of Water and Fire Chaos Legion cards being revealed! Including 2 Summoners, 2 Legendaries, 2 Rares, 2 Epics, along with two surprise reveals for a Death and Earth card. I will be doing 3 articles on this over the next 2 days, 1 for Water, here, 1 for Fire, and I'll show the surprise reveals in each one at the end!

As I said before, the new set will have TWO Legendaries of the main 5 Splinters, Fire, Water, Earth, Life, and Death. One of these legendaries from each set will be a 0 Mana legendary, with an ability that'll set it apart from the Chicken, and enhance the Splinter it is in.

So, let's check out these Water Teasers, which I have been SUPER excited for, and can confirm, it was Worth the wait

Diemonshark

A new Invader! This is some sort of demonic Shark from the other side, an enemy shark to fill out our Shark Faction of Splinterlands Monsters, this guy looks like a powerful rare. One of the things that was mentioned in the AMA is that these creatures wouldn't just come out of a giant portal and then fall to the ground and flop around like a normal shark...

I think this means that this bad boy will be a large, serpentine, Flying Shark. He will almost certainly be Melee, and because I'm getting a high mana, melee vibe, I think he will cost 8 Mana, with a sizable 4 Melee, 2 Speed, 2 Armor, and 7 Health. I think he'll fill the slot of Sea Monster's previous role, as a powerful high mana water Bruiser! As for his other abilities, I think we will see Enrage and maybe something wild like Deathblow, which would make him a strange sort of 'finisher' Tank.

Kelya Frendul

Here's your Water Summoner, and that is a +1 Melee Summoner or a +1 Armor if I ever saw one!!! I'm super excited about this card and can't wait to obtain and build one for my Water Melee build, which I've been tweaking and amassing in preparation for this exact moment!

Not a lot to say beyond that, I think she carries on Malric Inferno's will as an absolutely Killer +1 Melee Summoner and it'll be exciting to see how she plays with the new, and old Water cards!!

Wave Brood

An absolutely wicked Water Elemental gone wrong, this looks like a corrupted Water Elemental that is going to bring the HURT. I believe he will be a similar cost to Water Elemental, and act as a 'new' version of the card, possibly with a slightly different role. I believe we're looking at a Magic Attacker, with maybe 2 Magic Attack, and slightly higher cost than Water Elemental due to it, I'm going to take a guess, and say he will be 6 Mana, 2 Speed, and 6 Health. As for abilities? I'm getting a debuffer vibe, and think he will have Slow along with Snare and maybe Phase. This would make him a strange card overall, but since I only have the art and previous cards to go off of, this is unfortunately my best guess :P I'm sure others will have some great ideas for this guy!!

Finally, the Legendary, a magical Elf, but not just any elf, an elf who practices not Earth magic, but Water magic...

River Hellondale

We are 100% sure this is a legendary, magic attacker. As an Elf, I believe we're looking at a unique hybrid of typical Elven abilities, along with the power of Water magic.

As such, I think he's going to cost about 4 Mana, and be a powerful, Little League attacker for Water, similar to Djinn Biljka for Earth! I believe he will gain the following abilities: Cleanse Phase OR Evasion (Likely not both), Dispel and maybe Immunity. This is because Legendaries tend to have 3-5 Abilities. I believe he will also be 1 Magic damage, 3 Speed, and 4 Health initially, but quickly ramp up into a powerful magic attacker that clears opponents buffs, and clears ally's debuffs, while being immune himself. This would make for an interesting card in Water, and give Water one of its first Immune cards and/or Cleanse cards at Bronze level.

Acid Shooter

Nothing to speculate here, this is a 2 Mana Earth Epic, with the following stats currently. He will have Poison, Cripple, and the new ability Scattershot

Scattershot, as discussed in the AMA will target a random target every turn, allowing him to hit anybody at random, as opposed to more targeted abilities like Snipe, Sneak, and Opportunity. One very important thing to mention from the AMA is the speculation, and possible agreement from the developers that Scattershot may be able to Bypass Taunt creating a very cool, if not very random counter to Taunt which will really bring the Chaos!
