Pelacor Descent 1 of 4 - On the distant floating continent known as Solaki, the sons of the sun have lived for hundreds of years since the great Splintering.
For those who know of its existence in the Splinterlands, Solaki is also sometimes known as the sun splinter.
Life in the Splinterlands has never been easy, as anyone living there can tell you, but it has been a picnic compared to the average life on the floating continent.

When the Splintering happened so many years ago, the continents were not simply divided and split.
Many of the physical laws that govern reality were turned upside down.
As the mana forces of the Planet overflowed that day, trees spontaneously burst into flames.
Great schisms formed in the deepest and most solid ground.
Mountains changed into volcanoes in an instant and whole bodies of water evaporated in a flash.
In some areas, people and animals were simply vaporized as high impact mana clouds made their rounds above the surface.

The cheapest Earth Reward card, this is NOT reflective of this boi's usability. This is THE affordable modern tank for Earth IMO, unless Chaos Legion just comes in and completely blows this guy away.

He's pretty underwhelming initially, with 2 melee, 2 speed, 1 armor, 8 health, and Flying, he really takes a while to ramp up. At Level 3, he gains +1 Melee, and that gives him a little bit more usability, as does the +1 Speed at Level 4, but his first REAL power spike in usability is at Level 6, in low Gold, where he gains Healing. Welcome Flesh Golem 2.0, and an affordable one too! At max Level, he gains Retaliate, making him a very powerful pick for Mylor Thorns, where he would punish an enemy TWICE for hitting him.

At $.10 per BCX, he costs about $10 to get a Healing Tank, which makes him an absolutely excellent deal.

This one is my favorite card to upgrade out of the 3, as a Healing Tank like this will be crucial to Earth's Modern Format in upper ranks when Flesh Golem leaves.

Banished from Below 2 of 5 - Outside the boundaries of the core engine, there is an open space of densely concentrated power.
This is known as the Power Depths.
Several types of creatures live here, including the mole-like scavo people and the antoids.
These races use the Planet’s natural internal power to live luxurious lives safely within the Planet’s cocoon, and few among them are even aware of life on the Planet’s surface.

Beyond the Power Depths is an even larger area known as the Strite.
Among Splintral experts that know of its existence, the Strite is often referred to as the Dream Splinter.
Laws of physics do not always hold true in this realm of dreams, where the power of the Planet can create illusions and impossible-to-describe wonders.
Beyond the Dream Splinter and one step closer to the Planet’s surface is the Underworld.
Almost all Splinterlands experience with the underground comes from their dealings with those from the Underworld, which can be easily accessed through certain caves throughout the Splinterlands.
Many parts of the caves beneath Molten Mountain lead to the Underworld, as do openings on the surface of the Raysco Mountains of Mortis.
The most famous of these openings is the mouth of Monster Mountain and its Dread Hall, wide enough for a marching army in formation.

Venari Seedsmith is another great pick for Earth, and offers Earth more tools to counter itself, in Mylor, and also grants a really great Ranged assassin card that functions as an anti-healing card, much like affliction does.

With 2 HP, he's pretty squishy, luckily he starts with 2 Range, 2 Speed, and Vulture to gain health as enemies die, giving Earth another unique option for a sustain build. What REALLY makes Seedsmith shine though is gaining +1 Range at Level 4, usable in Silver, and then gaining Poison at Level 5, usable in Gold. This turns him into a ranged assassin and an absolute must pick for me Earth team.

He currently costs about $.28 per BCX. So he costs about $11 to build to his Poison Level, making him an absolutely wonderful, cheap addition to anybody's Ranged Earth or Earth Sustain teams.

This one is my favorite art of the new Earth Reward cards, with its steampunk vibes, paired with nature and fantasy magic.

Dawn of the Djinn 1 of 4 - The Thousand Year War before the Splintering never really ended. Dozens of Belludae (ancient demons of war) officers had been taken prisoner, but their fates had yet to be decided.
Belludae sorcerers of such a high degree were notoriously difficult to kill, so other plans had to be made.

The most powerful and oldest of the Belludae could not simply be killed by any physical means.
They are able to change forms and escape nearly any situation.
Just a few years before the Splintering, an Efreet magical discovery made it possible for Belludae souls to be captured from unmoving Belludae bodies.
The trick is to trap the Demon in an item of value. Some of the Belludae elite were placed in jeweled flasks, while others were locked in chests.
They were trapped in lamps, vases, ornate boxes and urns.
All these objects, once sealed, were placed in a secure vault underground, and a few weeks later, the Splintering happened.
A massive schism split the vault into pieces, warping and dividing the land and carrying the Belludae soul containers to different locations.
There the containers rested for nearly 900 years.

This guy is SO powerful for a 3 Mana card. At max level, he has 3 Magic, 1 Speed, 2 Health, Void, Weaken, and Camouflage.

This makes him immune to his own reflect at Level 3, and only take 1 damage at Level 4. It makes him immune to Sneak, Opportunity, and Snipe, it makes him an all around better option than Swamp Thing, and he offers a very powerful magic attacker for Earth at low mana.

At $9 per BCX, he costs about $99 currently to hit Level 4, making him one of the cheapest legendaries currently, however, I expect this, and all Reward card prices to drop further as time goes on.

As I said previously, Venari Seedsmith wins for my favorite as afar as the Art goes. Pelacor Mercenary wins for the card I want to upgrade most. I tend to avoid low mana Earth, but I am hoping that once I have a Djinn Level 2, I will start to enjoy Earth in low mana formats more.
