Why I continue to buy Splinterland cards

avatar

Hi Steemit Friends

3 days ago, I purchased the Serpentine Spy GF card at $1.84. It wasn't a cheap price but it was acceptable and I had enough DEC to pay it off. It was one of the cards I had on my list from the Untamed series. Not thinking much on this card, I left it for 2 days and when I checked today, the card jumped up to $2.50. That is nearly 35% in 2 days!

As I touched on over and over again previously, I am very happy with my buys on Splinterlands. It has made a better return than any other ones I have made on this blockchain so far. The focus for me on this game is to make sure I buy what I really need rather impulse buy what I think is cheap. Thet pool of funds is there so steering off track doesn't work with my buying limitations.

If you take the serpentine spy as an example, this buy would be considered an excellent purchase. If I had known of this jump in price, I may have just used some extra Steem I have to buy it all up but it is never that way. Therefore focusing on the cards I need to buy is the goal here. I will be on the lookout for the next card.

Buying cards for Splinterlands is always a fun game in and of itself. I actually haven't battled much on the game myself, but I tend to trade cards on the open market for a profit as I find that more exhilarating than actually playing the game as intended 😂

By the way, I noticed that you haven't made a post before from the #steemleo interface (https://steemleo.com). The SteemLeo Team is offering a $5 upvote from this account (@leo.voter) to anyone who makes their first post from our interface. Hope to see you on there 🦁
