My thoughts on the PKM token release

Well of course i love it.. but i'm biased... but i do have some thoughts i haven't seen in all the videos and posts published so far. So I'll write some here and share my hour long video below

People are not speculating much on price and that's too bad because I was excited to see some guesses. I really have no clue on what it can be but in the video i run some numbers to see. Because I am going to be a BUYER of the token myself so i want to know what's a good deal.

Also heck if the users who are getting it don't want the token I'm happy to buy it from them and @peak-monsters account will buy some as well because we want some for tipping, tournaments, donations into LP pool rewards etc.

Anyway I really have lots of questions as well... like does anyone know if the LP provider pool is a really good deal or not? I'm putting 100k SPS into the pool but that SPS gets locked for a year and I DO NOT get LP provider rewards during that time either.

For example would YOU jump in at the 1:10 ratio if you were invited to give initial liquidity given those terms?
Actually we are open to opening that up but it would be very limited and to long term friends of the project because we don't want them dumping all the PKM in one year and we want them to have thought very carefully about adding to the pool and any risk for doing it.

I'm really interested to see what @mozzie5 does in organizing the tournaments we have already said we'll buy a bunch of cards to give as prizes and he wants to do CP delegations as some rewards which i think is cool.

I think people should know we can't compete with the USD value that @splinterlands can do with SPS since they can freely create SPS for their tournaments and we've decided if we want to reward PKM that we'll have to buy it or earn it in order to give it to you guys.

I think the biggest thing for you guys to know is that we really did create it to be utility centric. Speculating on price is fun... i get that... and it going up helps users. But WE don't NEED it to go up to make money... as you can see we didn't put many mechanisms in there to profit a ton of PKM. WE make money when our market does well so we're using the token as a way to help the market and get users excited and getting them some money is the way that we'll be in turn indirectly rewarded.

Anyway i'm gonna be a buyer so that part of me (taking off PKM creator hat) wants to guess what the price is so that's part of why i made the video to see if i could do any math to figure it out. BUT... i admit liquidity pool math is not easy so I don't know how to calculate it using a spreadsheet.

Also i'm excited about the ability to TIP posts some day with PKM
I'm also excited to create new features that will use PKM I love the process of creating. But we've already created so much for PeakMonsters so new stuff is gonna have to be pretty creative or time intensive i worry.
