Summoner - Grandmaster Rathe

In the Back to Basics conditions we usually expect a lot of magical attacks, and if we add this to the fact that we have extra armor for all our creatures, the best summoner we can use is Grandmaster Rathe with which we ensure that these magical attacks will need to finish this armor before.

En las condiciones de Back to Basics solemos esperar mucho ataque mágico, y si lo juntamos con que tenemos armadura extra a todas nuestras criaturas el mejor invocador que podemos usar es Grandmaster Rathe con el cuál aseguramos que estos ataques mágicos van a topar con esta armadura.

1- Pelacor Conjurer

Since I am using the rest of the cards with a lot of mana, I only have 2 left, and this card is the one with the highest life.

Como estoy utilizando el resto de cartas con mucho maná me quedan solo 2, y esta carta es la que tiene mayor vida.

2- Time Meddler

Good armor, good health and 2 magic attack points. It seems to me a good option to play in second position.

Buena armadura, buena vida y 2 puntos de ataque mágico. Me parece una buena opción para jugar en segunda posición.

3- Runemancer Atuat

Another card with very good health and good armor, along with two magic damage.

Otra carta con una muy buena vida y buena armadura, junto con dos puntos de daño mágico.

4- Magi of Chaos

Very good card, I have to focus my attack on magic and this card gives me 3 points of magic damage and a good life.

Carta muy buena, debo centrar mi ataque en ataque mágico y esta carta me da 3 puntos de daño mágico y una buena vida.

5- Time Mage

I continue with the magic attack cards, and despite having very little life I don't have many other options.

Sigo con las cartas de ataque mágico, y a pesar de tener muy poca vida no tengo muchas más opciones.

6- Djinn Renova

Card with a very good magic attack and good life. in this case I put it the last because I prefer to have a card with very good magic attack until the end.

Carta con un muy buen ataque mágico y buena vida. en este caso la pongo al final porqué prefiero tener una carta con muy buen ataque mágico hasta el final.

Round 1

As expected, the opponent, like me, has played with a lot of magic attack and has used a summoner that gives an additional point of magic damage to all creatures. I hope my armor can compensate for this extra attack that the opponent has. At the end of the first round we both lost our tank, so it's even and up for grabs.

Como era de esperar el rival, al igual que yo, ha jugado con mucho ataque mágico y ha utilizado un invocador que les da un punto adicional de daño mágico a todas las criaturas. Espero que mi escudo pueda compensar este ataque extra que tiene el rival. Al final de la primera ronda los dos hemos perdido a nuestro tanque, así que está todo igualado y por decidir.

Round 2

At the end of the second round, everything is still very even, we have both lost the second card and we have the third without holy protection. In this case, my card has more life than opponent's and it also has 6 armor points that the opponent must attack.

Al final de la segunda ronda todo sigue muy igualado, los dos hemos perdido la segunda carta y tenemos la tercera ya sin la protección divina. En este caso mi carta tiene más vida que la suya y además tiene 6 puntos de escudo que el rival debe bajar.

Round 3

At the end of the third round seems like things are going well for me. I have one more card and the opponent's last two cards have very little life.

Al final de la tercera ronda parece que las cosas van bien para mi. Tengo una carta más y las dos últimas cartas del rival tienen muy poca vida.

Round 4

I continue with one more card, and the opponent only has 2 creatures with 3 life points.

Sigo con una carta más, y el rival solo tiene 2 criaturas con 3 de vida.

Round 5

We finished round 5 with one more loss on each side and I have 2 creatures with a total of 9 life points + 6 armor points and on the contrary the opponent only has one creature with 3 life points. This round will be the last.

Acabamos la ronda 5 con una baja más por cada lado y tengo 2 criaturas con un total de 9 puntos de vida + 6 puntos de armadura y por el contrario el rival solo tiene una criatura con 3 puntos de vida. Esta ronda será la última.

Round 6

And so it has been, I ended up winning the battle more easily than it seemed at the beginning.

The truth is that my strategy has worked very well. With the Armored up and Back to Basics conditions, it was very predictable that the game would focus on the magic attack (it was the best option for everyone). The opponent has also predict the battle in the same sense, and despite using one of the best possible summoners in these conditions it has not been enough to win the battle. In my case, using Grandmaster Rathe has been a great success, it has helped me a lot to take advantage of Armored Up's conditions, surely this same battle without the two additional armor points could have ended with the victory for the rival team.

La verdad es que mi estrategia ha funcionado muy bien. Al tener las condiciones de Armored up y Back to Basics era muy previsible que la partida se centrara en el ataque mágico (era la mejor opción para todos). El rival también ha leído la batalla en el mismo sentido, y a pesar de utilizar uno de los mejores invocadores posibles en estas condiciones no ha sido suficiente para ganar la batalla. En mi caso Utilizar a Grandmaster Rathe ha sido un gran acierto, me ha ayudado mucho a sacar provecho de las condiciones de Armored Up, seguramente esta misma batalla sin los dos puntos adicionales de armadura podría haber acabado con la victoria del equipo rival.
