Hello everyone, today I am going to explain my experience with the rental. Despite not having a huge card collection, I realized a few weeks ago that I could get a good amount of DEC if I rented these cards that I don't use. Given that my free time (and I suppose that of the majority) is very limited and renting the cards manually is a job that requires a lot of time and is not optimal, I decided to look for a bot to rent my cards.

After learning about it, I saw that there are more than one alternative, like the Splex.gg Golem, but finally I decided to use Splinterrents, a bot that is managed through Discord. The main reasons were because I have seen that it is one of the ones that obtains the highest benefits, it has a commission of only 5%, it did not seem very complicated to configure and some clan mate uses it.

First steps and Splinterrents configuration

To configure it I am only going to show the essential steps, for more information you can go to the official website of splinterrents.com or ask any question through their Discord.

1- Enter their Discord
2- Meet a member called SplinterRents bot, open a conversation with him and send $help
3- Send him $register 553653142240100355 -> This number is my referral, so I will appreciate if you use it.
4- Authorize the splinterrents account with the posting key. This key is used for social activities and cannot be used for monetary actions, so we cannot lose money if someone has access to it. This can be done via their own web or on peakd en tu perfil - Account actions - Keys & Permissions - Authorities - Add new authority - (there select posting and give permission to splinterrents).
5- Send to the SplinterRents bot $add account name
6- Send $activate account name to the SplinterRents bot

Well, so far everything is very simple, but things get complicated if we also use this account to play, since the bot will rent ALL our cards. So that the bot does not rent the cards that interest us, we must exclude them one by one. Another alternative that greatly simplifies it is to use a secondary account and transfer the cards that we want to rent. In my case I use this secondary account to play with the bot and what I did was the following:

1- Delegate from my main account to my secondary account the cards that I am going to use to play in this secondary account.
2- Transfer all the cards I want to rent to the secondary account (this is very easy and fast through Peakmonsters).
3- Register and use my secondary account in SplinterRents, then the bot can play with the cards that I have delegated to it (these cannot be rented because it is not the owner) and SplinterRents rents all the cards that I have transferred to it .

Once the bot is running and renting the cards, each day we will receive a message with the results of the previous 24h and the fee to pay, which we have a week to pay and can be done very easily by transferring the DEC through the game to the splinterrents account.

Results

The result after these 15 days of the renting season are really very good. Renting some cards that have a value between 500 - 570$ I have obtained 8380 DEC, quite amount of DEC for cards of relatively low value.

As you can see for this amount of DEC, the total commission that I have had to pay is 413 DEC, which represents 5% of the total. To pay the commissions you have a maximum of one week of time, but I usually pay it every 3 or 4 days.

The yearly Return on Assets during these days has been variable, from a minimum of 29% to a maximum of 44% at the end of the season, being between 32 - 35% the most common values.

The rental prices are very volatile and at times exaggeratedly expensive, even renting a card with a yRAO of more than 1100%.

Something that I consider very important is the fact that the SplinterRents bot modifies the price of the cards to adapt to the volatility of the rental market and thus have most of them rented at a good price (which is impossible to do manually). For example, Djinn Oshannus was renting for about 5 DEC per day, but the day the market was more expensive, the bot changed the price to rent it for more than 9 DEC and has even rented some of them for more than 11 DEC.

Pros and Cons

The main advantages and what I liked the most about SplinterRents is the following:

• Low time requirement (1 min a week to pay the fee, although I recommend paying it more often).
• The bot automatically modifies the price of the cards based on the market price in such a way that I have always had approximately 80-90% of the cards rented.
• In the discord they have a support channel where they help you very quickly and efficiently in case you need it.

The main "cons" I have found are:

• High RC consumption, they recommend 10 HP for every 100 cards, but in my case sometimes it was not enough. To consume less RC you can always increase the update cycletime, I left it at 60 min which is the default value.
• If you have many cards in Cooldown, the bot fails and does not list the cards until the cooldown of most of them is gone (this maximum is 24h), I think this is an aspect that should be improved.

Conclusion

My experience using SplinterRents was really good, I think they have a very optimized bot and it allows you to get a few DECs without having to do anything, so from here I encourage you all to rent your cards and get some passive income from those cards that you do not use

Hola a todos, hoy os voy a comentar un poco mi experiencia con el alquiler. A pesar de no tener una gran colección de cartas, hace unas semanas me di cuenta que podía sacarme una buena cantidad de DECs si alquilaba estas cartas que no utilizo. Visto que mi tiempo libre (y supongo que el de la mayoría) es muy limitado y alquilar las cartas de forma manual es un trabajo que requiere mucho tiempo y es poco óptimo me decanté por buscar algún bot para alquilar las cartas.

Después de informarme sobre el tema vi que hay más de una alternativa, cómo el Golem de Splex.gg, pero finalmente me decantarme por utilizar Splinterrents, un bot que se gestiona a través de Discord. Los motivos principales fueron porqué he visto que es de los que mayores rendimientos obtiene, tiene una comisión de sólo el 5%, no me pareció muy complicado de configurar y algún compañero del clan lo utiliza.

Primeros pasos y configuración de Splinterrents

Para configurarlo únicamente voy a mostrar los pasos indispensables, para más información podéis ir a la web oficial de splinterrents.com o consultar las dudas que tengáis a través de su Discord.

1- Ingresar a su Discord
2- Buscar en sus miembros el bot SplinterRents, abrirle una conversación y enviarle $help
3- Enviarle $register 553653142240100355 -> Este número es mi referral, así que te estaré muy agradecido si quieres usarlo.
4- Autorizar a la cuenta splinterrents con la posting key. De forma que el bot pueda poner a alquilar las cartas. La posting key se utiliza para actividades sociales y no puede usarse para acciones monetarias, con lo que no podemos perder dinero si alguien tiene acceso a ella. Esto se puede hacer a través de su propia web o en peakd en la página de tu perfil - Account Actions - Keys & Permissions - Authorities - Add new authority - (allí seleccionar posting y dar permiso a splinterrents).
5- Enviar al bot de SplinterRents $add account name
6- Enviarle $activate account name al bot de SplinterRents

Bien, hasta aquí es todo muy sencillo, pero la cosa se complica si nosotros también utilizamos esta cuenta para jugar, ya que el bot pondrá a alquilar TODAS nuestras cartas. Para que el bot no alquile las cartas que nos interesan hay que excluirlas una por una. Otra alternativa que lo simplifica mucho es en el caso que tengas una cuenta secundaria pasarle las cartas que queramos alquilar. En mi caso utilizo esta cuenta secundaria para jugar con el bot y lo que hice fue lo siguiente:

1- Delegar desde mi cuenta principal a mi cuenta secundaria las cartas que voy a utilizar para jugar en esta cuenta secundaria.
2- Transferir todas las cartas que quiero alquilar a la cuenta secundaria (esto es muy sencillo y rápido a través de Peakmonsters).
3- Dar de alta y utilizar mi cuenta secundaria en Splinterrents, de tal forma que el bot puede jugar con las cartas que le he delegado (estas no se pueden alquilar porqué no es el propietario) y SplinterRents alquila todas las cartas que le he transferido.

Una vez el bot ya está en funcionamiento alquilando las cartas, cada día recibiremos un mensaje con los resultados del día anterior y la fee a pagar, la cual tenemos una semana para pagarla y se puede hacer muy fácilmente transfiriendo los DEC a través del juego a la cuenta splinterrents.

Results

El resultado después de estos 15 días de la temporada alquilando realmente son muy buenos. En resumen alquilando unas cartas que tienen un valor de entre 500 - 570$ he conseguido 8380 DEC, nada menospreciable por unas cartas de relativamente poco valor.

Como podéis observar por esta cantidad de DEC la comisión total que he tenido que pagar es de 413 DEC, lo que supone un 5% del total. Para pagar las comisiones tienes máximo una semana de tiempo, pero yo suelo pagarla cada 3 o 4 días por si en algún momento no puedo o me despisto.

La rentabilidad anual durante estos días ha sido variable, desde un mínimo del 29% hasta el 44% a final de temporada, siendo entre el 32 - 35% los valores más habituales.

Los precios de los alquileres son muy volátiles y en algunos momentos exageradamente caros, alquilando incluso alguna carta con una rentabilidad anual superior al 1100%.

Algo que considero muy importante es el hecho de que el bot de SplinterRents modifica el precio de las cartas para adaptarse a la volatilidad del mercado de alquileres y así tener la mayoría de ellas alquiladas a un buen precio (cosa imposible de hacer de forma manual). Por ejemplo Djinn Oshannus se estaba alquilando por unos 5 DEC al día pero el día que el mercado estaba más caro el bot modificó el precio para alquilarlo por más de 9 DEC e incluso ha alquilado algunos de ellos a más de 11 DEC.

Pros y Contras

Las principales ventajas y lo que más me ha gustado de SplinterRents es lo siguiente:

• Bajo requerimiento de tiempo (1 min a la semana para pagar la fee, aunque recomiendo pagarla más a menudo para evitar posibles despistes).
• El bot automáticamente modifica el precio de las cartas en función del precio de mercado de tal forma que siempre he tenido aproximadamente entre el 80-90% de las cartas alquiladas.
• En el discord tienen un canal de support dónde te ayudan de forma muy rápida y eficiente en el caso de que lo necesites.

Las principales pegas que le he encontrado son:

• Alto consumo de RC, te recomiendan 10 HP por cada 100 cartas, pero en mi caso en algunos momentos se ha quedado corto. Para consumir menos RC siempre se puede aumentar el cycletime de actualización, yo lo dejé en 60 min que es el valor por defecto.
• Si tienes muchas cartas en Cooldown el bot se "bloquea" y no pone las nuevas cartas en alquiler hasta que se vaya el cooldown de la mayoría (esto máximo son 24h), creo que esto es un aspecto que deberían mejorar.

Conclusión

Mi experiencia utilizando SplinterRents bot ha sido muy buena, creo que tienen el bot muy optimizado y permite sacar unos cuantos DEC sin tener que hacer nada, así que desde aquí os animo a todos a alquilar vuestras cartas y a obtener unos ingresos pasivos de aquellas cartas que no utilizáis.
