I'm going to share a battle that I played a few days ago and was impressed with the results.

Voy a compartir una batalla que jugué hace unos días y que me impresionó el desenlace que tuvo.

First of all let's see the conditions of the battle. These were that no magical creatures could be used, only 13 mana points were allowed, and the possible splinters to use were Water, Earth, Death, or Dragon. As magic cannot be used, I consider that the water splinter with Kelya is a very good option because it gives a shield point, ensuring that my creatures will need at least 2 hits to die, it also has cards with little mana but with good attack.

Primero de todo vamos a ver las condiciones de la batalla. Estas eran que no se podían utilizar criaturas mágicas, sólo se permitían 13 puntos de maná, y los posibles splinters a utilizar eran Agua, Tierra, Muerte o Dragon. Al no poder utilizarse magia, considero que el splinter de agua con Kelya es una muy buena opción porqué da un punto de escudo asegurando que mis criaturas necesitarán mínimo 2 golpes para morir, además tiene cartas de poco maná pero con buen ataque.

In my case I put a small tank with a good amount of shield in the first position, followed by the Torrent Fiend that does not consume mana and would be two attacks spent by the enemy in the event that an opportunist will be used. Finally I put two Sneaks with 2 attack points, placing the Pelacor in the last position, which with its high speed and the ability to fly, I think that some attack can dodge.

En mi caso puse un pequeño tanque con una buena cantidad de escudo en primera posición, seguido del Torrent Fiend que no consume maná y serían dos ataques gastados por el enemigo en el caso que utilizara algun oportunista. Finalmente puse dos Sneaks con 2 puntos de ataque colocando en la última posición el Pelacor que con la alta velocidad que tiene y la habilidad de volar pienso que algún ataque puede esquivar.

On the other hand the enemy put a first tank with Shield, followed by a sneak with 3 attack points and finally 2 creatures without danger in last positions, I guess to keep my Sneaks busy while his Silent Sha Vi is attacking my team.

Por otra parte el enemigo puso un primer tanque con Shield, seguido de un sneak con 3 puntos de ataque y finalmente 2 criaturas sin peligro en última posición supongo que para mantener mis Sneaks ocupados mientras su Silent Sha Vi va atacando mi equipo.

A priori I think my team should win, because I have 3 creatures that can attack with 2 attack points (the enemy only has 2 creatures that can attack), and the shield point that Kelya gives me ensures that my creatures will need 2 attacks for sure.

A priori creo que mi equipo debería ganar, porqué tengo 3 criaturas que pueden atacar con 2 puntos de ataque (el enemigo sólo tiene 2 criaturas que pueden atacar), y el punto de escudo que me da Kelya me asegura que mis criaturas necesitaran seguro 2 ataques.

Round 1

At the end of the first round everything goes as planned. My Sneaks have killed their last creature, the tanks have made their respective attacks and despite having a 25% chance to dodge the attack, my Pelacor received it, but it haa a shield, so it is not a big problem.

Al final de la primera ronda todo va cómo estaba previsto. Mis Sneaks han acabado con su última criatura, los tanques han realizado sus respectivos ataques y mi Pelacor a pesar de tener un 25% de probabilidad de esquivar el ataque lo recibió, pero cómo tiene escudo no es mayor problema.

Here at the end of round 2 things don't start to go as well as they should, my Pelacor again hasn't dodged the rival's attack (25% chance), but surprisingly his Silent Sha Vi has been able to dodge my Uraeus's attack even though it only had a 10% chance. Despite this, I still have the battle very much in front of me to win.

Aquí al final de la ronda 2 las cosas ya no empiezan a ir tan bien cómo deberían, mi Pelacor de nuevo no ha esquivado el ataque rival (25% de probabilidad), pero sorprendentemente su Silent Sha Vi ha podido esquivar el ataque de mi Uraeus a pesar de que sólo tenía un 10% de probabilidad. A pesar de esto aún tengo la batalla muy de cara para ganar.

Round 3

We have finished round 3 and things have gotten worse again. My Uraeus has missed his attack AGAIN (10% miss chance), so there is no option to poison his Silent Sha Vi and now Uraeus has lost his shield. Despite that, I make numbers and I should still be able to win the battle.

Hemos acabado la ronda 3 y las cosas han empeorado de nuevo. Mi Uraeus ha fallado su ataque OTRA VEZ (10% de probabilidad de fallar), con lo que no hay opción de envenenar a su Silent Sha Vi y ahora ya ha perdido el escudo. A pesar de ello, hago números y aún debería ser capaz de ganar la batalla.

No surprises in this round. Two definitive attacks and let's go to round 5.

Round 5

Another round without surprises, despite having a 20% chance of missing my attack this time I managed to hit the opponent.

Otra ronda sin sorpresas, a pesar de tener un 20% de probabilidad de fallar mi ataque esta vez logré dar al rival.

Round 6

This is where I have finally lost all my chances of winning the battle. This Silent Sha Vi has again dodged another attack with only a 20% chance. From here on my options to win disappear completely.

Aquí es donde finalmente ya he perdido todas mis opciones de ganar la batalla. Este Silent Sha Vi ha vuelto a esquivarme otro ataque con sólo un 20% de probabilidad. A partir de aquí ya mis opciones a ganar desaparecen por completo.

Round 7

Everything normal, the two attacks hits the opponent.

Round 8

Finally, just in case, on round 8 I miss another attack with a 20% chance.

Finalmente, por si acaso, en la ronda 8 vuelvo a fallar otro ataque con un 20% de probabilidad.

Conclusions

Well, I don't only see that I was very unlucky as I thought, I also have seen that in 99% of the cases I should have won this battle.
