Share your Battle! Regal Peryton [EN - ES]
New week, new challenge. This time it is the turn of Regal Peryton, an Earth card, for me one of the best splinters, at least for lower leagues.
Semana nueva, reto nuevo. Esta vez le ha llegado el turno a Regal Peryton, una carta de tierra, para mi uno de los mejores splinters, por lo menos en ligas bajas.
Regal Peryton
The card of the week is a rare card. It is currently at $0.34 in its normal version and $3.09 in its golden foil. I usually like to have the gold cards, but this card seemed a bit expensive to me, so I bought it in its normal version despite being one of my most used Earth cards.
La carta de la semana es una carta rara. Actualmente se encuentra a 0,34$ en su versión normal y a 3,09$ en su versión dorada. Normalmente me gusta tener las cartas doradas, pero esta carta me pareció algo cara, así que me conformé con su versión normal a pesar de ser una de las cartas de tierra que más utilizo.
Regal Peryton costs 5 mana, at level 1 has 1 magic attack point, 5 speed and 6 health. Also from level 1 it already has the ability to fly. I have summoners at silver level, so I find it interesting to have it at level 3 where it gets 2 magic attack points. For me, the most remarcable of this card are the speed and the ability to fly, which can most likely avoid some attacks. Also Earth magic cards are very slow, so this card is ideal to give some speed to this splinter.
Regal Peryton cuesta 5 de maná, a nivel 1 tiene 1 punto de ataque mágico, 5 de velocidad y 6 de salud. Además desde nivel 1 ya tiene la habilidad de volar. Yo tengo los invocadores a nivel plata, así que veo interesante tenerla a nivel 3 dónde obtiene 2 puntos de ataque mágico. Para mí de lo más destacado de esta carta es la velocidad y la habilidad de volar, lo que muy probablemente pueda evadir algunos ataques. Además las cartas de magia de tierra son muy lentas, con lo que esta carta es ideal para darle algo de velocidad.
My battle
In this case the only battle condition was Blast. In these cases it is very important to have at least one creature with the Reflection Shield ability that we will place in the second position and we will try to use fast creatures. In this case, only Earth can be used, so a priori I expect a lot of magic attack both from me and from the rival team.
En este caso la única condición de batalla era Blast. En estos casos es muy importante tener por lo menos una criatura con la habilidad de Reflection Shield que ubicaremos en la segunda posición, utilizar criaturas rápidas y si tenemos escudo mucho mejor. En este caso únicamente se puede utilizar Tierra, así que a priori espero mucho ataque mágico tanto por mi parte cómo por parte del equipo rival.
Line up
Summoner - Obsidian
I can only use Earth and it's the only summoner I have at silver level. So the choice was easy. Apart from this, it seems to me a great summoner with the magic cards that Earth has.
Sólo puedo utilizar Tierra y es el único invocador que tengo de nivel plata. Así que la elección era fácil. A parte de esto me parece un gran invocador con las cartas mágicas que tiene Tierra.
1- Hill Giant
I think it's the tank I use the most on Earth. 7 health points for only 3 mana it is a very goo deal. By only being able to use Earth I think the opponent will also use Obsidian with a magic attack, so the ideal would be the Unicorn Mustang, but it's 8 mana required leaves me with little mana for the rest of the cards.
Creo que es el tanque que más utilizo en Tierra. 7 puntos de vida por solo 3 de maná. Al sólo poder utilizar Tierra creo que el rival utilizará también a Obsidian con ataque mágico, así que lo ideal sería el Unicorn Mustang, pero son 8 de maná y me deja con poco maná para el resto de las cartas.
2- Venator Kinjo
As I mentioned before with Blast my second card has to be with the ability of Reflection Shield, and this is the only card I have to use with Earth. For only 2 mana points it is perfect.
Cómo he comentado con Blast mi segunda carta tiene que ser con la habilidad de Reflection Shield, y esta es la única carta que tengo para utilizar con tierra. Por solo 2 puntos de maná es ideal.
3- Fungus Fiend
You always have to play it when there is no more mana left. I put it in this position to spend the opportunist rivals attacks and if my first line falls it will give me more time to protect the magic cards.
Hay que jugarla siempre cuando ya no queda maná. La pongo en esta posición para despistar a los oportunistas rivales y si mi primera linia cae poder tener algún ataque más de margen para proteger a las cartas mágicas.
4- Regal Peryton
Fast card, with 2 magic attack points (3 with Obsidian) and is the one with the most life of the cards I have left.
Carta rápida, con 2 puntos de ataque mágico (3 con Obsidian) y es la de más vida de las cartas que me quedan.
5- Queen Mycelia
Very good card, it gives 2 shield points that in normal conditions can make us win the game, and with Blast even better to protect us from physical attacks.
Carta muy buena, da 2 puntos de escudo que en condiciones normales puede hacernos ganar la partida, y con Blast aún mejor pars protegernos de los ataques físicos.
6- Khmer Princess
I have 2 mana left, and this is the only magic attack card I can use.
Me sobran 2 puntos de maná, y esta es la única carta con ataque mágico que puedo utilizar.
Line up Costs
Let's look at the price of the decks to see if the most expensive deck wins (which should mean better cards) or you don't have to spend a lot of money to win if you know how to use the cards well. Knowing that there are gold cards that are very expensive compared to the normal version, I only take into account the price of the card according to the level and considering the normal version.
The current market price of my enemy's cards is: $16,9
The current market price of my team's cards is: $89,6
Vamos a ver el precio de los mazos para ver si gana el mazo más caro (lo que deberían implicar mejores cartas) o no es necesario gastarse mucho dinero para ganar si se saben utilizar bien las cartas. Sabiendo que hay cartas doradas que son muy caras respecto la versión normal, tengo en cuenta sólo el precio de la carta según el nivel y considerando la versión normal.
El precio de mercado de las cartas que ha alineado mi enemigo asciende a: 16,9$
El precio de mercado a día de hoy de las cartas de mi equipo asciende a: 89,6$
Como podemos ver el precio de los dos mazos muy desigual. Mi mazo es unas 5 veces más caras, me ha sorprendido que el rival únicamente utilizó cartas de nivel 1. Así que a priori debería ganar fácilmente, pero vamos a ver si realmente es así.

Did my Strategy Work?
The truth is that I expected the opponent to play with Obsidian and magic attack, and this strategy of taking off my shield and playing with Snipes and Opportunists surprised me, moreover with Failed Summoner's Reflection ability and Unicorn Mustang, which are two anti-magic cards it could cause me big problems. Despite this, my Venator Kinjo avoided a lot of damage and I was able to win the game.
La verdad me esperaba que el rival jugara con Obsidian y ataque mágico, y me ha sorprendido esta estrategia de quitarme el escudo y jugar con Snipes y Oportunistas, junto con la habilidad de Reflection del Failed Summoner y el Unicorn Mustang, que son dos cartas anti mágia, podría haberme causado grandes problemas. A pesar de ello mi Venator Kinjo me evitó mucho daño y pude ganar la partida.
