Splinterlands Gold Foil Possessed Puppet Pull, Thoughts on Her Best Usage!

Hi everyone, once again I opened up my daily gold loot rewards chests with fingers crossed like a kid on Christmas morning. Most of the time it can be a let down but today was not a bad day. The first turn flashed gold which is always awesome giving me my first gold foil Possessed Puppet. I already had a regular foil at level 5 but anytime I get a gold card I never complain. Other pulls weren't bad, a couple summoners to level up and cards I already had and a few SPS. Wasn't exactly Christmas but it sure beats a kick in the teeth!

When I first saw the Possessed Puppet card I thought it was kind of cool but pretty high mana for a weaker card. She didn't have opportunity or sneak even though she does strike twice. Additionally I really rarely use the death splinter mainly because I find myself having to really think over each match more than normal. Yesterday I was filling out my brawl battle and of course I was hit with a death only match. Fortunately all monsters had sneak. I used my level 3 Ocatavia Shadowmeld and realized the Possessed Puppet is really kick ass in this scenario. So I added her in and I won the match mainly because of her. Now I'm sold on her utility as a great card!

At level one she of course has the strike twice ability but only two melee attack and slow speed an low health. That's probably why I have ignored her until now. At level four she picks up the melee damage to three, picks up cripple at six and dispel at max level and another melee attack boost. I really see her as an effective card in sneak matches especially since she hits twice. At high levels she could be a secondary tank especially if you provide a card with protect. Ravenwood Warden is a great example of a very useful protect ability card to use in those situations.

Overall I misjudged this card. She is very useful especially at higher levels. I'm excited to level her up to gold/diamond levels and start using her in some regular battles. I hope you enjoyed my post and found something interesting or useful. Feel free to comment or ask questions below!
