DOCTOR BLIGHT is making my life miserable 😵 (EN-ES)
Hello Splinterlands friends, this week I'm taking hard knocks in combat due to a card that is making my life miserable.
What is going on that everyone now has a Doctor Blight at level 3 in their collection? I definitely hate that card. Every time I face it I get hurt badly.
In this post I'm going to tell you what is giving me so many headaches and share with all of you those humiliating fights I suffered 😞
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, esta semana me estoy llevando duros golpes en los combates debido a una carta que me está haciendo la vida imposible.
¿Qué está sucediendo que ahora todo el mundo cuenta con un Doctor Blight a nivel 3 en su colección? Definitivamente, odio esa carta. Cada vez que me enfrento a ella salgo mal herido.
En este post voy a hablaros que tantos dolores de cabeza me está dando y compartiré con todos vosotros esos humillantes combates que he sufrido 😞
DOCTOR BLIGHT
Surely many of you know Doctor Blight perfectly well. This card, which belongs to the Promo edition, belongs to the Neutral Element and has a legendary rarity.
But what makes this card one of the best in Splinterlands?
Seguro que muchos de vosotros conocéis perfectamente a Doctor Blight. Esta carta que pertenece a la edición Promo, pertenece al Elemento Neutral y tiene una rareza legendaria.

Doctor Blight only costs 4 mana points and although its stats are common to any other card, it has some abilities that make it unique.
This card hides an enormous power of destruction from level 3 and it is very difficult to counteract due to its incredible abilities.
Doctor Blight únicamente tiene un coste de 4 puntos de maná y aunque sus estadísticas son comunes a cualquier otra carta, tiene unas habilidades que la hacen única.
Esta carta esconde un poder de destrucción descomunal a partir de nivel 3 y es muy difícil de contrarrestar debido a las increíbles habilidades de las que dispone.
AFFLICTION
When a monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a 50% chance to apply Affliction on the target making it unable to be healed. Available from level 1.

CAMOUFLAGUE
This Monster cannot be targeted by attacks unless it is in the first position. Available from level 1.

POISON
Attacks have a 50% chance of applying poison, which inflicts automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied. Available at level 2.

EXAMPLE COMBATS
I didn't want to get to this section because the truth is that I feel really ashamed of all these fights. There were 3 fights in a row in the Brawl that I am playing and that have made me be the last of my clan 😭
No quería llegar a esta sección porque la verdad que siento auténtica vergüenza de todos estos combates. Fueron 3 combates seguidos en la Brawl que estoy disputando y que me han hecho quedar el último de mi clan 😭

Now I'm going to analyze each combat to realize all the mistakes I made.
In combat 1, to begin with I shouldn't have used the summoner Grandmaster Rathe since he was Unprotected, my opponent by using Verani Marksrat and resurrecting him, makes both Doctor Blight and Adelade Brightwing become very powerful. So even though I activated Captain Katie's Bloodlust* for 2 times, I have nothing to do against Doctor Blight's poison and his creatures' attack.
Combat 2 is another example of how Doctor Blight and his Scavenger ability can make you lose a combat. While I rely on a strategy in which my tank has a large amount of shield and I can repair it, my enemy plays catas that destroys my shield and many of them gain vitality with each death. In the end another combat lost and without being able to do anything to avoid it.
And finally, in the third fight you can see how effective this card can be when the battle condition is Little League. The failures to hit hurt the few chances of victory he had. His Doctor Blight grows until it is impossible to do anything to destroy him. Another bad match.
Ahora en frío voy a analizar cada combate para darme cuenta de todos los errores cometidos.
En el combate 1, para empezar no debí usar al invocador Grandmaster Rathe ya que estaba la condición Unprotected, mi rival al usar a Verani Marksrat y resucitarlo, hace que tanto Doctor Blight como Adelade Brightwing se vuelvan muy poderosos. Así que aunque haya activado el Bloodlust de Captain Katie por 2 veces, nada tengo que hacer contra el veneno de Doctor Blight y el ataque de sus criaturas.
El combate 2 es otro ejemplo de cómo Doctor Blight y su habilidad Scavenger pueden hacerte perder un combate. Mientras yo confío en una estrategia en la que mi tanque tiene una gran cantidad de escudo y puedo repararlo, mi enemigo me juega catas que destruye mi escudo además muchas de ellas van ganando vitalidad con cada muerte. Al final otro combate perdido y sin poder hacer nada para evitarlo.
Y por último, en el tercer combate se puede apreciar lo efectiva que puede llegar a ser esta carta cuando está la condición de batalla Little League. Los fallos al golpear lastran las pocas oportunidades de victoria que tenía. Su Doctor Blight crece sin parar hasta que es imposible hacer nada para destruirlo. Otro mal combate.
CONCLUSION
While it is true that I must continue to improve my gameplay in Gold League (I am not yet adapted to this League), there are cards that alone decide a fight and in these examples Doctor Blight has been decisive in my failures.
Now I will have to think if it is worth spending 58 DEC per day in his rental and if this will result in more victories.
Si bien es cierto que debo seguir mejorando mi forma de juego en Liga Oro (aun no estoy adaptado a esta Liga), hay cartas que ellas solas deciden un combate y en estos ejemplos Doctor Blight ha sido determinante en mis fracasos.
Ahora tendré que pensar si merece la pena gastar 58 DEC por día en su alquiler y si ello me va a repercutir en más victorias.
