My Top Brawl Battles: Flagulon Reine vs. Captain Katie (EN-ES)
Hi Splinterlands friends, in today's post, I'm going to analyze the match between two of my favorite Gladius cards, Flagulon Reine and Captain Katie.
The match was one of the ones I played in the last Brawl and where I was able to use Flagulon Reine while my enemy played Captain Katie.
Let's start by talking a little bit about each of the cards...
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, en el post de hoy, voy a analizar el combate en el que se enfrentan dos de mis cartas Gladius favoritas, Flagulon Reine y Captain Katie.
El combate fue uno de los que disputé en la pasada Brawl y dónde pude hacer uso de Flagulon Reine mientras mi enemigo jugó con Captain Katie.
Empecemos hablando un poco de cada una de las cartas...
Flagulon Reine is the first and only Gladius card of legendary rarity that I have. It is a Water Splinter card and has a mana cost of 6 points. Its features include 2 points of magic attack, 2 points of speed and 6 points of life.
The really amazing thing about this card is its Blast ability that combined with Bloodlust make it a very powerful enemy.
Flagulon Reine es la primera y única carta Gladius de rareza legendaria que tengo. Es una carta del Splinter Agua y tiene un coste de maná de 6 puntos. Entre sus características destacan los 2 puntos de ataque mágico, 2 puntos de velocidad y 6 puntos de vida.
Lo realmente sorprendente de esta carta es su habilidad Blast que combinada con Bloodlust hacen de ella un enemigo muy poderoso.
In the evolution table, we can see how at level 2 he would learn the Shatter skill and at level 3 the Knock Out skill.
For those of us who have not had the opportunity to get Ruler of the Seas, we have the opportunity to play with this card which is even better.
En la tabla de evolución, podemos observar como a nivel 2 aprendería la habilidad Shatter y ha nivel 3 la habilidad Knock Out.

Captain Katie is another of the star cards of the Gladius edition. This rare rarity and Life Splinter card will delight all players thanks to its incredible stats and abilities.
With a cost of 7 mana points, Captain Katie has 3 points of magic attack, 2 points of speed and 6 points of life.
But the combination of her Snipe and Bloodlust abilities make her a very tough and difficult opponent to defeat.
Captain Katie es otra de las cartas estrellas de la edición Gladius. Ésta carta de rareza rara y del Splinter Vida hará las delicias de todos los jugadores gracias a sus increíbles estadísticas y habilidades.
Con un coste de 7 puntos de maná, Captain Katie tiene 3 puntos de ataque mágico, 2 puntos de velocidad y 6 puntos de vida.
Pero la combinación de sus habilidad Snipe y Bloodlust la hacen una adversaria muy dura y difícil de derrotar.
In his evolution table we can see how he gradually improves his stats and at level 6 he learns the ability Divine Shield.
Perfect for destroying magical or ranged attack creatures, which in most cases are weaker cards and thanks to Bloodlust he will be able to evolve for each card he destroys.
En su tabla de evolución podemos observar como poco a poco va mejorando sus estadísticas y a nivel 6 aprende la habilidad Divine Shield.
Perfecta para destruir criaturas de ataque mágico o a distancia, que en la mayoría de los casos son cartas más débiles y gracias a Bloodlust podrá evolucionar por cada carta que destruya.

PROLOGUE
In the next combat I play Water Splinter, while my enemy plays Life Splinter. Being a high mana combat, we can select all kinds of very powerful creatures.
As I have the Equal Opportunity condition, I see an opportunity to use Flagulon Reine, who will be able to take more advantage of her Blast ability and thus activate Bloodlust to be able to increase her combat stats.
En el siguiente combate juego con el Splinter Agua, mientras mi enemigo juega con el Splinter Vida. Al ser un combate de alto maná, podemos seleccionar todo tipo de criaturas muy poderosas.
Al tener la condición Equal Opportunity veo una oportunidad de usar a Flagulon Reine, que podrá sacar mayor partido de su habilidad Blast y así activar Bloodlust para poder aumentar sus estadísticas de combate.
ROUND 1
My strategy is to use Coeurl Lurker in first position to attract all the attacks of the enemy and for that he will have the support of Merdaali Guardian to heal him. In this way Flagulon Rein will be protected long enough.
In the first round I destroy Pelacor Arbalest and Time Mage. A perfect move that gives me a speed advantage and I take out one of their creatures with a double attack.
Mi estrategia consiste en usar a Coeurl Lurker en primera posición para atraer todos los ataques del enemigo para eso tendrá el apoyo de Merdaali Guardian para curarle. De este modo Flagulon Rein estará protegida el tiempo suficiente.
En la primera ronda destruyo a Pelacor Arbalest y Time Mage. Una jugada perfecta que me da ventaja en velocidad y elimino a una de sus criaturas con doble ataque.
ROUND 2
The second turn I manage to destroy Prismologist another of his good creatures but on the other hand I lose Coeurl Lurke after receiving many hits. He has fulfilled his role perfectly preventing Captain Katie from attacking my weaker creatures and not being able to enable his ability Bloodlust.
Flagulon Rein is also still unable to activate his ability but even so, he has weakened all enemy creatures.
El segundo turno consigo destruir a Prismologist otra de sus buenas criaturas aunque por el contrario pierdo a Coeurl Lurke después de recibir muchos impactos. Ha cumplido con su papel a la perfección evitando que Captain Katie pueda atacar a mis criaturas más débiles y no pudiendo habilitar su habilidad Bloodlust.
Flagulon Rein sigue también sin activar su habilidad pero aún así, ha debilitado a todas las criaturas enemigas.
ROUND 3
Now Flagulon Rein manages to eliminate Adelade Brightwing and activate Bloodlust although Captain Katie also does it by eliminating Merdaali Guardian, I also lose Deeplurker by hitting Legionnaire Alvar who dies at the end of this round.
Ahora sí Flagulon Rein consigue eliminar a Adelade Brightwing y activar Bloodlust aunque Captain Katie también lo hace eliminando a Merdaali Guardian, además pierdo a Deeplurker al golpear a Legionnaire Alvar que muere al final de éste asalto.
ROUND 4
Now with only Captain Katie, in this turn I only attack with all my creatures until I weaken her.
Ya con únicamente Captain Katie, en este turno solo ataco con todas mis criaturas hasta debilitarla.
ROUND 5
He finally succumbs to Flagulon Reine's attack and ends up winning an epic bout.
Finalmente sucumbe ante el ataque de Flagulon Reine y termino por ganar un combate épico.
Playing Brawls in Splinterlands is a breath of fresh air. Having so many powerful cards at our disposal makes combat a real spectacle.
I hope that in the future the Splinterlands team will continue to improve and implement new features for Brawls players that will encourage more people to play this mode of the game.
Jugar Brawls en Splinterlands es un soplo de aire fresco. Tener a nuestra disposición tal cantidad de poderosas cartas hacen que los combates se vuelvan en todo un espectáculo.
