Portals Spinners are members of the Cult of the Rift, a faction within the Chaos Legion that harnesses rift magic to cast deadly spells.

Portal Spinners siphon life magic from their surroundings to open mini-rifts in the fabric of reality. Some thought to use these portals to travel between realms. However, after attempting to do so, many a Portal Spinner was consumed by whatever foul beasts dwelled on the other side of the portal. Others emerged... rearranged... and either dead or wishing they were dead.

Now, Portal Spinners simply use their portals to launch chaotic and random attacks against their enemies. They might open one portal beneath a fallen sword, boulder, or other weapon of convenience and a second portal above their enemies, sending the weapon through the rift and crashing down on its unsuspecting victim.

If facing enemies capable of flight, Portal Spinners have been known to use their portals to drop nets upon their foes, grounding them.

Los Portals Spinners desvían la magia vital de su entorno para abrir minifisuras en el tejido de la realidad. Algunos pensaron en utilizar estos portales para viajar entre reinos. Sin embargo, después de intentarlo, muchos de los hilanderos de portales fueron consumidos por las bestias asquerosas que habitaban al otro lado del portal. Ahora, los Portals Spinners simplemente utilizan sus portales para lanzar ataques caóticos y aleatorios contra sus enemigos. Portal Spinner is a Splinter Vida card from this new Chaos Legion edition. It is a creature with 5 points of mana cost, 2 points of ranged attack, 2 points of speed, 1 point of shield and 3 points of life. From level 1 it has the Scattershot ability.

Portal Spinner es una carta del Splinter Vida de esta nueva edición Chaos Legion. Es una criatura de 5 puntos de coste de maná, 2 puntos de ataque a distancia, 2 puntos de velocidad, 1 punto de escudo y 3 puntos de vida. Desde el nivel 1 cuanta con la habilidad Scattershot.

At level 5 he also gets the Snare skill.

Its double attack makes it a must-have card for any player who wants to play with ranged creatures. Simply perfect.

Prismologist has a devastating attack and its Blast ability makes it a very dangerous creature.

Don't you know Silvershield Sheriff? You should consider using it, it's a card that spends a lot of mana but has a huge ranged attack and life. Ideal to use in last position.

¿No conoces a Silvershield Sheriff?. Deberías plantearte usarlo, es una carta que gasta mucho maná pero tiene un ataque a distancia y vida descomunal. Ideal para usar en última posición.

Combat comments: As we can see my enemy uses a similar strategy to mine. With really powerful and high level creatures but he doesn't protect them well which gives us an advantage.

Como podemos observar mi enemigo usa una estrategia similar a la mía. Con criaturas realmente poderosas y de alto nivel pero no las protege bien lo que nos da una ventaja.

We are slowly destroying their creatures and doing a lot of damage thanks to Prismologist's Blast. Finally we win the game with 3 creatures still alive. A good game in which we can appreciate how the fact of having cards of higher levels is not equivalent to win a game.

Nosotros vamos poco a poco destruyendo a sus criaturas y haciendo mucho daño gracias al Blast de Prismologist. Finalmente ganamos la partido con 3 criaturas aún con vida. Una buena partida en la que podemos apreciar como el hecho de tener cartas de niveles superiores no equivale a ganar una partida.

My opinion

Desde que empezó Chaos Legion poco a poco he ido jugando con el Splinter Vida hasta convertirse en uno de mis favoritos y en el que me encuentro mejorando constantemente. Han potenciado muchísimo éste Splinter y hay cartas verdaderamente poderosas. Pero no es el caso de Portal Spinner.

Es una buena carta pero no puede compararse a cartas como Pelacor Arbalest, Prismologist. Creo que con 1 punto menos de maná hubiera sido una buena carta pero sus 5 puntos de maná la hacen demasiado costosa para lo que ofrece.
