Over the next few months, we'll be doing a series of posts highlighting the exceptional abilities of certain monsters and why these abilities are special - starting with the 'Healing' ability.

If you've been playing this game for a while now, it should be very obvious that Healers are undoubtedly the real game-changers in battles. Well, these monsters do a phenomenal job in delaying the inevitable death, no surprise why they're so remarkable!

Let's look into Heal and its two subset abilities some other monsters possess.

HEALING ABILITY TYPES.png

If you're just starting out in the game - there are some very powerful healing monsters on the market if you wish to buy/rent. If not, you're still not completely out of luck. There are some playable monsters that although you don't own, you can always take with you to all your battles!

PLAYABLE HEALERS.gif

If you look at these healers available to you without any purchase - you'll notice each one of them has a different attack type. One more interesting observation - A couple of them don't have an attack at all! With relatively low health and no attack, these healers are simply there to help your friendly monsters last longer in battles.

But with no attacking ability to defend themselves, if poorly placed in a battle - they can be vulnerable and can easily be taken out.

HOW I USE MY HEALERS IN BATTLES

The visual below shows how I usually place my healers in the battles. Remember, each one serves a purpose.
In this example, Cornealus and Crustacean King are the two monsters with healing abilities. One thing to notice - while Cornealus has a ranged attack with 2 damage, Crustacean King has none.

This means it needs a solid defense around it to keep it protected. Cornealus as a healer works at its best in the last position in a battle. Think of it this way - A ranged attack monster with 12 health points that heals itself in each round. Where would you place it? You got the answer.

Here's the full battle if you're curious to know how it ended!

BOTTOMLINE

If you saw the battle I shared above, you must have seen how Crustacean King, my little healing angel made Djinn Oshannus literally unstoppable! How was it able to do so? Because it was protected by Cornealus until the very end of the battle.
To me - placing my healer in the best spot is the most crucial aspect for a guaranteed win because you know a solid victory is waiting for you at the finish line if your healer survives the entire battle!

3X GIVEAWAY!!!

In the entire blog, we talked about healers and how extraordinary they are. It would be a shame not to give a chance to some lucky ones to own one of my very favorites, Venari CrystalSmith!

VENARI.png

Note: To participate in the giveaway from Twitter, please follow the same instructions -

  1. Follow @jazz05
  2. Like, Retweet the post
  3. Let me know your favorite healer in the comment section!

You see - I find some healing monsters better than the others. Although they all play pretty much the same role, what really differentiates them is their use case in battle. I think, and you'd probably agree to this - Healers that have at least some form of attack type are better than ones with just their ability.
I always prefer having monsters on my side who play some role in attacking, no matter what ability they possess.

This is where I find monsters like Venari CrystalSmith superior to say, a Crustacean King. Venari not only heals the friendly monster in the first position, but it also contributes to the attack with 1 health damage in each round!

So, there you have it.

Are you making the most out of these healing powerhouses? If not, you are really missing out!

I'll pick 3 giveaway winners this Friday, November 26th - Good Luck!

Until next time brawlers, KEEP BRAWLING!!!

3 WINNING ENTRIES AS PROMISED:

Please send me your in-game username to receive your reward card!

To the rest, no hard feelings, we've got a lot more giveaways coming (hopefully 1 every week!)

Quick note for future giveaways:

  • Make sure you follow all the instructions.
  • Make sure the account you use looks legit - I see a lot of accounts that either have no content at all or just giveaway posts from other users. I'll be considering that in my future giveaways!

Good old basics, nice one! I'd prefer wood nymph - Comes with one magic attack damage along with the healing ability!

I think my favorite healer is the Flesh Golem. Low mana, good health, ok speed. It's great!

I like the healing tanks, cerberus and haunted spirit. Specially with less than 15 mana, healing tanks are essential.
