"BATTLE MAGE SECRETS - LOST MAGIC"

avatar

Good Day Everyone💓, Today's blog is for @Splinterlands "Battle Mage Secrets" And the Battle Ruleset is set to be "Lost Magic" where Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.

The purpose of this blog is to share my battle results, where this ruleset is present in the battle. This contains my strategies and my line up and what is best to use in this kind of ruleset. And the battle will be based on Bronze to Silver league only because my deck is max only on bronze league.

What would be the best strategies to be used in this kind of ruleset? What are the Summoners and Monsters excels in this ruleset? If you have those kind of strategies please do share your battle link on the comment section. I'd be happy to watch them! Heyyaah!!!

Since Magic attacks cannot be used, two option are only left, melee and range attacks. I decided to use "Yodin Zaku"because of its positive buffs it gives to its monsters, the plus 1 range attack, plus 1 health, and its main buff the blast ability. This gives me an advantage in terms of firepower because every time my monsters hits their target their is an additional damage because of the blast ability. The monster adjacent to the monster being hit will take damage. This is a good strategy but my worries here is it can get countered by return fire ability and some of my monsters were slow, they only have 1 and 2 speed so I'm worried that they will miss a lot and this will get me to defeat.

These are My Team Line Up in this battle. I'm using Summoner and Monsters from the Fire Splinter.

Summoner: Yodin Zaku - Gives offensive and defensive buffs to the team line up.

First Position: Living Lava - Act as a tank for melee and range attack but vulnerable to magic attacks - Melee damage monster

Second Position: Antoid Platoon - Secondary tank same as the Living Lava they have the "Shield Ability" - Melee damage monster

Third Position: Lava Launcher - Range Damage - Can attack at the first position- Main source of damage

Fourth Position: Ash Mirage - Range Damage - Has the "Head Winds" abiltiy which makes enemy monsters range damage reduce it by one - Secondary Source of Damage.

Fifth Position: Fire Caller - Range Damage - Has the "Weapons Training" ability when gets hit and die will give plus 1 to all stat to its adjacent monsters. Secondary Source of Damage.

Sixth Position: Scavo Firebolt - Range Damage - Secondary Source of Damage - Additional fire power that will contribute to the team line up.

Observation:

There you go My team is against "Kelya Frendul" which gives additional armor and speed to all enemy units. I know my team will miss a lot from this battle but thanks he use a "Taunt"monster in the line up and that gives me the advantage. Since his taunt monster is slow I'm sure they will hit this monster a lot and makes the monster adjacent to it will get wrecked because of the blast ability. The use also of double tank makes my team more sustainable in this battle.

I may have lost this battle if the opponent didn't put "Wave Brood" in their line up, because if my team focused to be targeting only the monster in the first position my team may not hit them a lot because of the speed difference. Maybe it should focused on opportunity and sneak type monsters to be able to take down my source of firepower.

That's it for this today's blog, I hope I've discuss my battle knowledgeable and informative for you see you again next "Battle Mage Secrets" and if you like this blog maybe you can upvote this and follow me for more @Splinterlands content. See you in the Battle Arena!! See YAH!!! 🎮🎮🎮
