My experience as a reader.

First of all, thank you @esther-emmanuel for the invite, I've made sure to subscribe so I don't miss out on more interesting stuff.

Now to the topic, according to the rules of the contest, I will be answering the questions that were asked relating to my own experience as a reader.

Question one says;
What is your favorite time or place to read?

Answer: I can read anytime and anywhere, however, my favorite time to read it in the evening because at that time, I would have been back from work, done some chores needs to be done, and would feel more comfortable after filling my tummy with something good. After doing all this, I would be relaxed and would be able to read without distractions. One major thing for me when it comes reading us that I must be in a calm state and must be RELAXED if not, the would only hold book close to my face and would be reading the words in the story but won't understand a thing I'm reading, That's me. Sometimes it's hard to listen to a music and read at the same time. There are book I take to read that I just need to focus on and when I'm all my concentration is on the book,that's when I'm able to understand what I'm reading. There's no way I would understand a book I'm reading when there are so many distractions. Generally, I doubt anyone can read a book with distractions around.

Question two says; What makes you enjoy a book?

Answer: The suspense, narrative, the style of describing in a way that it opens your imaginative mind and you feel like you're in the story. A good book sets you on a journey, it educates you. In summary, the knowledge and information is all it is.

Question three says; Do you like to read outdoors, before bed, or on the bus on your way to work?

Answer: let me start with this, on the bus on my way to work is completely out of it. At that time I would be in a hurry and all I would have on my mind is to get to work on time. I feel comfortable reading before bed. I also read outdoor when there are no distractions.
For instance, if I'm out with family, I would have to give them at least 95% attention and won't be able to get to read. Even if I take a book to read, I won't understand it because of the many distractions. But if I'm out on my own to just relax and be alone for a while, I would enjoy a good reading session.

Question four says; Do you focus on character development, thoughtful messages, or the level of intrigue a plot generates in you?

Answer: Hmmm, well I focus of the level of intrigue a plot generates because it's one of the things that draws me into the book I'm reading, it kind of captions my attention in a way that makes me not want to miss a word in the book.
I also focus on thoughtful messages and character development too.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

I invite @merit.ahama and @cescajove to join.

I call our group the foodie bookie gang 😅😂

You must always catch me with a pack of chips, biscuits, or just something to nibble on while reading. It's second nature.

Nice post @jessicaossom
