Brawl Report #14
Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I have missed brawls in the past and it hurts when gladius cards can now be used in ranked battles using the soulbound summoners.
Brawl Result
I choose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 4 wins. My rewards for the brawl were 2,350 merits and 24.668 SPS in the 2 star category. My guild ranked 1st place out of the 10 guilds there. I choose to take the gold foil modern brawl because my guild usually doesn't fill all their spots and I prefer to give my other guild members a chance at the brawls. We did better this time around and I think more people remembered to submit their matches.
Brawl fights
There were 2 fights that I won, 2 that I lost, and 2 that did not submit their match. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.
You can find the first match here. I won this match and I was a bit worried but my bloodlust monster plus repair helped my magic monster survive. The resurrection only helped my side build more bloodlust and the life leech did heal most of the damage that I got.
You can find the second match here. I won this match and I was a bit worried again this match because of the flying magic monster in the back. I was able to take advantage of the enrage and the -2 armor was a huge benefit to my side. as my enraged Pelacor Mercenary did massive damage.
You can find the third match here. I won this match and it was an easy win. My opponent didn't even have any attacking monsters at all.
You can find the fourth match here. I won this match and I don't know what my opponent was doing. His reach bloodlust monster was in the last spot.
Conclusion
I think doing 6 fights for 2,350 merits and 24.668 SPS is a pretty good reward for the effort. I submitted 4 fights and I won all of them. At the same time, my guild got 1st place by just a few points so I felt like I actually did my part this time around. I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merit for the number of battles you participate in. So I think it is worthwhile for people to participate in these brawls. My current brawls are in the two star category.

There are times you try to submit a match and mistakenly click surrender or run out of time to submit, I always dread that. I'm glad you got some decent reward, you're pulling good waves in your guild.
Yea. Last time my guild got 1st, I was last place among the members but I am not this time around. I have seen that a few times but I generally don't have that issue too often

The first battle is very interesting, I like that you used a Repair ability, it worked out like you were able to spy on your opponent. Good going you've been terrific with Brawls results lately.
Yea. I have had some good luck and I also liked that 1st match. It just worked out well with repair, life leech, and void armor. I don't know if that luck will continue to hold out though.
