Brawl Report #46 - Losing every single fight again

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I have missed brawls in the past and it hurts when gladius cards can now be used in ranked battles using the soulbound summoners. 2 weeks ago, I lost all my fights and it happened again this round.

Brawl fights

There were 8 fights that I lost. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match. The taunt and speed difference just killed me. I couldn't do anything against my opponent due to that.

You can find the second match here. Another loss. Mylor is too destructive against me because I focused on using melee monsters. There wasn't much I could do.

You can find the third match here. It was a closer match compared to the previous 2 but I still lost due to that tank heal. My repair couldn't do much against that shatter.

You can find the fourth match here. It's another Mylor fight so I lost. I was focusing on melee monsters so I lost.

You can find the fifth match here. I lost this match and my opponent just had too much damage compared to me. I couldn't do much against all the magic monsters.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match and my opponent just had faster and stronger monsters than me. I couldn't really do much against the Tenyii Striker.

You can find the seventh match here. I lost this match and it's tough to beat a Possiblius with Coast Sentry combination. I felt that I had a strong lineup but that taunt monster definitely messed me up.

You can find the eighth match here. I lost this match and my opponent's lineup was just too powerful. That Quora and Kartelba combination is rough to beat.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 8 losses. It was a horrible brawl and I lost all of my matches again. My rewards for the brawl were 2,667 merits and 26.193 SPS in the 3 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we ranked fairly low. I choose to take the gold foil modern brawl because my guild usually doesn't fill all their spots and I prefer to give my other guild members a chance at the brawls.

Conclusion

My performance was average this time around and lost all of matches again. I am not sure where we placed but I am assuming we placed 8th or 9th in the rankings due to the chat. It is a surprise to see that I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merits for the number of battles you participate in. So I think it is worthwhile for people to participate in these brawls. My current brawls are in the three star category.
