Brawl Report #52 - Another round of losing fights in brawls

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I missed my previous brawl so I am glad that I was able to make it to this fight. Even if I did lose all of my fights.

Brawl fights

There were 2 fights that I lost. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match and you can read more about my strategy here. It was a lost but I think I did quite well considering how many monsters that I took out. The level advantage was too much as my opponent was too fast. I had a solid strategy with tanky monsters up front but they just werent't fast enough.

You can find the second match here. I lost this match and it was quite horrible. My strategy was to delay my enemy but my opponent was faster and they did more damage than me.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 2 losses. The brawl was about the same as last time with me losing most of my matches. My rewards for the brawl were 3,778 merits and 37.361 SPS in the 3 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we ranked a bit higher than last time. I choose to take the gold foil modern brawl because my guild usually doesn't fill all their spots and I prefer to give my other guild members a chance at the brawls. It's been quite tough but my gold foil cards just don't cut it but I also don't think people in my gold has so many gold foil cards leveled up.

Conclusion

My performance was bad this time around and I lost all of my fights. It wasn't that many fights but it still sucks to see that I lost every single match. I am not sure where we placed but I am assuming we placed 5th or 6th in the rankings due to the chat. It is a surprise to see that I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merits for the number of battles you participate in. So I think it is worthwhile for people to participate in these brawls. My current brawls are in the three star category. I don't seem to do well at all in 3 star brawls and I don't see anyone missing their fights either. So I guess trying to aim for a lucky surrender isn't happening.
