Brawl Report #58 - Back to 3 star brawls

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I missed my previous brawl so I am glad that I was able to make it to this fight. Even if I did lose all of my fights.

Brawl fights

There were 1 fights that I won, 5 that I lost, and 1 that I won due to surrender. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match and my opponent had a level advantage. It let him attack first and I lost the match due to the speed difference.

You can find the second match here. I won this match because my opponent only had 1 melee monster. I used one of my few leveled-up gold foil summoners and I won because my opponent couldn't damage me due to repair.

You can find the third match here. I lost this match and that Gobson destroyed me. I couldn't do much as it stacked up the bloodlust. I was also at a level disadvantage and Immortalis shattered my armor.

You can find the fourth match here. I lost this match due to the level and speed disadvantage. My opponent just killed me off way too fast.

You can find the fifth match here. I lost this match but it was a closer match compared to the rest. It ended up being a battle between the bloodlust monsters but that Chaos Dragon in the back just slowly killed off my monsters.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match because that bloodlust monster had thorns. I couldn't do much against my opponent as that bloodlust stacked up.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 2 wins and 5 losses. The brawl was about the same as last time with me losing most of my matches. My rewards for the brawl were 2,333 merits and 23.42 SPS in the 3 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we ranked quite horribly. We were back in 3 star brawls but it looks like our next brawl will be a 4 star brawl.

Conclusion

My performance was bad this time around and I lost most of my fights again. At least I didn't lose every single match and there were slightly less fights this time around. I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merits for the number of battles you participate in even in the 3 star category. It was a tough brawl and I am just glad that I didn't get wiped out in every single match. Let's hope that my next run in 4 star brawl next round won't go as bad.
