Brawl Report #60 - Losing every single fight in 4 star brawls

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. I missed my previous brawl so I am glad that I was able to make it to this fight. Even if I did lose all of my fights.

Brawl fights

There were 8 fights that I lost. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match and there wasn't much that I could do. I was hoping to get use bloodlust to win this match but the level disadvantage was too much because my opponent had dispel and poison.

You can find the second match here. I lost this match and I was relying on bloodlust again. I just didn't have enough damage and that trample hurt with the ruleset working against me.

You can find the third match here. I lost this match and my opponent's bloodlust monster was too powerful. It stacked up quite a bit and my monsters just died without being able to do much.

You can find the fourth match here. I lost this match due my limited options in magic only rulesets. Then again, my opponent had a fairly powerful lineup so I don't know if I would have been able to beat it.

You can find the fifth match here. This was a closer match than I thought but I still lost. My opponent just had more damage than I had and I did have a level disadvantage.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match it just hurts when my damage was too spread out. My opponent also had a level advantage so his deeplurker was faster than mine and I think it hurts.

You can find the seventh match here. I lost this match and I got destroyed. I couldn't land any attacks during the first few rounds and my opponent just destroyed my lineup during that time.

You can find the eighth match here. I lost this match and that bloodlust just destroyed me. I couldn't do much because my monsters were targeting the wrong monster as it got stronger and stronger.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 8 losses. This is the first time in a while that I lost all my matches and I was hoping to at least get one win. My rewards for the brawl were 2,524 merits and 56.768 SPS in the 4 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we ranked worst than our last time in 4 star brawls. These 4 star brawls sure are tough as most people have capped silver cards and I don't.

Conclusion

My performance was bad this time around and I lost all of my fights. I was to at least get one win or potentially win half of my fights but it doesn't look likely. I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merits for the number of battles you participate in even in the 3 star category. It was a tough brawl and I am just glad that I didn't get wiped out in every single match. Let's hope that my next brawl is better.
