Brawl Report #63 - Losing all but 1 fight

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. Even if I did lose most of my fights.

Brawl fights

There were 1 fights that I won and 7 that I lost. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match but it was kind of close. I lost because my opponent just had more damage and I focused a bit too much using Arkemis for the protect to make me live longer. However, it did cut down on my damage.

You can find the second match here. I lost this match and that retaliate was just too deadly. Relying on dodges wouldn't cut it given the damage my opponent had.

You can find the third match here. I won this match because I used a flying monster and I played according to the earthquake ruleset.

You can find the fourth match here. It was a close match but I lost. That repair monster delayed the match quite a bit and I missed a deciding blow towards the end. So I lost this match by a slight bit.

You can find the sixth match here. I lost this match it and my opponent outplayed me. He reduced my ranged attack and his summoner gave him return fire. So the counter damage was too much for me.

You can find the seventh match here. I lost this match and I got destroyed. My opponent had a speed advantage and the pierce made my armor useless.

You can find the eighth match here. I lost this match but I did have a chance to win. I just missed too many attacks and that hurt me.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 1 win and 7 losses. I didn't do so well but I didn't get completely wiped. My rewards for the brawl were 3,524 merits and 61.562 SPS in the 4 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we ranked worst than our last time in 4 star brawls. However, I still think the rewards weren't that bad.

Conclusion

My performance was bad this time around and I almost lost all of my fights. I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merits for the number of battles you participate in even in the 3 star category. It was a tough brawl and I am just glad that I didn't get wiped out in every single match. Let's hope that my next brawl is better.
