Brawl Report #78 - Winning half of my matches

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. It was an average brawl this time around as I won half of my matches. I am not sure if I am missing a match or two because I grabbed what was in my log. It was still there because I didn't play as many fights.

Brawl fights

There were 3 fights that I won and 4 that I lost. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match. My opponent just took advantage of the knock out ability. My tank went down quite fast due to that stun and I ended up just losing after that.

You can find the second match here. I won this match and I was a bit worried due to that Grund. However, the thorns and bloodlust worked out in the end.

You can find the third match here. I lost this match and there wasn't much I could do against the speed advantage that my opponent had. Weapons Training also gave my opponent some extra damage.

You can find the fourth match here. I lost this match. My opponent was able to heal up any damage that I did with heal and repair.

You can find the fifth match here. I lost this match and the magic damage just overwhelmed me. I couldn't do much.

You can find the sixth match here. I won because of my summoner. I was able to take out the sneak monster and deal enough damage to win the match.

You can find the seventh match here. I won this match because I had tank heal and repair. It was able to keep my monsters long enough to win the match.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 3 win and 4 losses. I didn't do so well but I didn't get completely wiped. My rewards for the brawl were 2,143 merits and 33.072 SPS in the 4 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we ranked in at last place. We haven't been doing so great in brawl lately and our guild has also been considering going back to 3 star brawls because our rank is bad.

Conclusion

My performance was below average this time around was great and it looks like I was placed in the bronze brawls. Getting half of my fights as win is good. I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merits for the number of battles you participate in even in the 3 star category. I don't know which area I will fight next time but I am just glad that I had a great brawl for the first time in a while.
