Nice progress.
Have you considered asking? Maybe someone has gotten the same issue but they aren't speaking up. I feel that letting more people know might lead to a solution. It might only apply to you now but if they don't fix it, then it could apply to quite a few more people.

I mentioned it in Discord too, but I don't remember if I added the details. Anyway, my ticket was closed with the reason "duplicate", which makes me think someone else filed a similar ticket before I did. Because I certainly didn't file two of them.
