It seems quite interesting if you can use them in tournaments. Can you use them in ranked battles?

Exemplar cards cannot be used in ranked battles and cannot be used in SPL DAO tournaments, but only in special events and tournaments and also in private tournaments if the tournament creator chooses to enable exemplars.
