It sounds like an investment opportunity in the future. Is the price of packs above the retail price? It might be considered profitable once that jackpot chance increases even more.

I do not know if holding the packs long term is the viable option here. If majority of jackpot cards are pulled before most packs are opened than remaining opening packs may drop in value. Tricky here.
