Splinterlands 49th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. I did have to do some fights during the last few days, but it wasn't too many.

Season Rewards


I ended up with 484 Glint for last season, which is slightly less than what I was getting before. I didn't start as early as last time, but I managed to get the fights in during the last few days.

I did get two league advancement rewards in Modern. This time, it was worse than last season. I did get some common cards, but it just feels lackluster.

No jackpot cards this time, but two gold foil cards and a jackpot common card. One of the gold foils is rare, and the other is common. I did get some legendary cards, but it wasn't that many.

I went for two rare cards this time around because I don't have enough Glint for an epic.

Gladius Packs

I got 4 packs this time around, and the opening seems worse than last time. No gold foil, epic or legendary cards.

I was able to upgrade my Chimney Wallstop to level 7. It gains one more armour, but I can't use this card often.

SPS

My SPS rewards were higher than last time. My guild did way better on brawls this time around, and there were a few more days between the end of the season and this report. So an extra brawl may have been included.

I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 155.053 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference of a few more days added on top.

Conclusion

This season was bad. I didn't earn as much glint, and my openings were kind of bad. The only positive thing would be the frontier pack openings, because those ended up with some gold foil cards, and some of my cards are starting to max on that end. I hope the next season is better.

It looks like the reward card is no longer soulbound or am I the one wrong about it? Looks like it.

The reward cards are soulbound, but the foundation cards are not. Reward cards are gotten using Glint in Modern, Wild or Survival mode.
