Splinterlands 53th Season of Glint, Merits and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I didn't get as many fights as I would like in Modern because I have been more focused on Frontier. Most of my fights happened on the last day of the season as I was in a rush to move up before the season ended.

Season Rewards

I ended up with 2,286 Glint for last season, which is slightly less than what I was getting before. I didn't start as early as last time, but I managed to get the fights in during the last day, and I got lucky with 10 straight wins. This let me get to Silver and end without too many issues. The UI has changed again.

I did get two league advancement rewards in Modern. It was amazing this time around as I got almost all cards, and 2 of them were even rare cards.

I am back to 2 rare cards for now while I stock up Glint.

Gladius Packs

I got 4 packs this time around, and the opening seems to be slightly worse than last time. No gold foil or legendary cards this time around. I did get an epic, but it was the bare minimum in terms of the cards above common.

I was able to upgrade my Whistling Damon to level 7. It gains one more attack for this upgrade, but it loses one maximum health point. It's too bad that I can't use this card due to my archon's levels, though.

SPS

My SPS rewards were lower than last time. My brawl rewards have gone back down slightly.

I plan on staking all of the SPS I got from staking for a total of 103.479 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected if I factor in the time difference of a few more days removed on top.

Conclusion

This season was better this time around because I was able to get a nice clean win streak in modern to end it early. At the same time, my chest rewards from the rank advancements were quite good. The only downside is how bad my gladius pack openings were this time around.
