Splinterlands: Chaos Furybringer is a good card to use in Junior Varsity
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Chaos Furybringer.
Featured cards

Chaos Furybringer is a fire splinter that costs 6 mana. This card has reach to start. Leveling this card increases its stats, and I find it as a fairly decent card to use in Foundational battles due to its fast speed, and it's one of the better backup tanks.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Junior Varsity and Up Close & Personal. This means that only melee monsters with a cost of 6 or lower can be used. There is also 24 mana available, and I can use every splinter except water, earth, and death.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barthalamas | 6 | Summoner | +1 speed |
| Ember Roast Sow | 4 | 1st | |
| Chaos Furybringer | 6 | 2nd | Reach |
| Kanaaq Miner | 5 | 3rd | Sneak |
| Total Mana: | 21 |
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. The options are limited due to the ruleset, so I used a throw away monster up front as a tank, while keeping Chaos Furybringer in the second spot as a damage dealer. My last monster is another filler that can attack from its current position.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that I have the advantage in this match due to my level advantage. My opponent ended up choosing a similar lineup to mine, but the extra level means my monsters attack faster, and I also deal more damage due to Chaos Furybringer.
Round 4

A few rounds later, my opponent's lineup is reduced to 1 monster, while I still have 2 of mine. It is my win because I am faster than my opponent.

I won the match as I expected.
Conclusion
The battle this time did go exactly as planned. Chaos Furybringer has been one of my favorite cards due to its fast speed and damage. Its only downside is its low health, but I think it is worth the chance. It was amazing in this match as I had limited card options, and the damage it dealt was amazing.

What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

I like this on health equalizer
Solid card with bunch of attack!
I think the game changer was the speed, I think immediately you hit the opponent in the first round, you were definitely going to win.
The positioning of the monsters in the match was the key to victory
