Splinterlands: Chimney Wallstop is great in Aim True

Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Chimney Wallstop.

Featured cards

Chimney Wallstop is a fire splinter that costs 10 mana. This splinter starts with bloodlust and reach. It learns repair at level 5, strengthen at level 9, and leveling it does increase its stats. In Brawls, I use this card quite often, but I don't use it outside of that much because this is a gladiator.

Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Aim True and Shapeshift. This means that monsters can't miss, and all monsters are treated as bloodlines. There is also 39 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for earth and life.

The shaftshipt doesn't really apply unless my opponent uses specific archons, so I am looking more at the Aim True ruleset. Slow but hard-hitting monsters can be quite useful if they can stay alive.

My summoner is Eternan Brune for the -2 armor. My tank is Living Lava with shield. My backup tank is Chimney Wallstop as my backup tank. Djinn Inferni is a fast magic monster with giant killer. Then I have a martyr monster. I have 2 ranged monsters as damage dealers.

The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while the rest of my lineup deals damage. Since I was using a summoner that adds a second gladiator, I decided to use two of them in this match. So with 2 bloodlust monsters, things can easily tip the match in my favor if I have them kill a few monsters.

Round 1

round 1.png
At first glance, I think that this match can go either way. I have slightly more damage thatn my opponent, but my opponent has a level advantage. It depends on how fast I can take out the monsters before my opponent wipes out my backline.

Round 3

round 3.png
A few rounds later, my opponent has lost 4 monsters while I have lost 2. At this point, there is nothing my opponent can do because I can't miss.

I won that match later that round.

Conclusion

The battle this time went exactly as planned. My monsters tanked the hits while my bloodlust monsters did the damage. It's too bad my ranged bloodlust monster died, but Chimney Wallstop was a beast once his bloodlust started stacking. Monsters were going down every single turn, and it was an easy win afterwards.

You can see my entire match here.

What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

It's still slow, but not missing makes it quite a good damage dealer.

The chimney is very underrated, although it just cost a lot of Mana

I like using it because of how it has Giant Killer.

I also use Chimney Wallstop a lot on my Brawls because of its Reach and Bloodlust ability

It's a good addition to the lineup if there is a decent amount of mana available.

The blood just makes it more powerful as it lands more kills.
