Splinterlands: Djinn Inferni is a great damage dealer

Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Djinn Inferni.

Featured cards

Djinn Inferni is a fire splinter that costs 7 mana. This splinter starts with the Giant Killer ability. Leveling up this card increases the stats of this monster, and it learns stun at level 5. It's a card that I use in Brawls because it can't be used in Modern.

Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Are You Not Entertained and Now You Can See Me. This means that one extra gladiator can be used, and all monsters gain the camouflage ability. There is also 38 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for water and earth.

The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. My archon is Eternan Brune for -2 armor. My tank is Living Lava with shield, followed by Chimney Wallstop with bloodlust and reach. I have Ferox Defender with protect followed by my magic and ranged damage dealers. I will be relying on these magic and ranged monsters because Giant Killer can double the damage, or Ifrit Rising with recharge.

Round 1

round 1.png
At first glance, I think that this match can go either way because of that corrupted healing. I'll have to rely on my magic monsters to see if I can kill off some monsters because that healer can get annoying.

Round 4

round 4.png
A few rounds later, my opponent is down to 1 monsters while I have 5 left. This is my win because my opponent can't attack anymore.

I won the match later that round.

Conclusion

The battle did go exactly as planned. My tanks did their job of keeping the rest of my damage dealers alive. The Giant Killer was good at removing some of the monsters, and the recharge also dealt massive damage. At the same time, Chimney was amazing as it stacked up bloodlust to increase my damage.

You can see my entire match here.

What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

I wonder why the opponent''s corrupted healing didn't even work even once in all the rounds, it was complete dominance though, very good win though, massive.

It did trigger one time during the first turn, but it can only heal when the monster attacks. The rest of the turns, it wasn't very effective when it was its turn.
