Splinterlands: First time seeing the Eggcelaration Ruleset
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I saw a battle where I saw a new ruleset.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Born Again and Eggcelaration. This means all monsters gain the rebirth ability, and all monsters also gain +1 stats per turn. There is also 29 mana available, and I can use water or death splinter.
It's my first time seeing the Eggcelaration ruleset. It does seem interesting as the monsters gain stats every single turn, so I think that having more monsters works out better if they can survive as the stats add up over time.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marlai Singariel | 6 | Summoner | +1 Magic |
| Asel Alagosdil | 4 | 1st | Divine Shield |
| Water-Logged Wizard | 6 | 2nd | |
| Arachne Weaver | 5 | 3rd | Slow |
| Grand Consul Minion | 4 | 4th | |
| Total Mana: | 25 |
My summoner is Marlai Singariel for +1 magic. I have Asel Alagosdil as my tank with divine shield. After that is Water-Logged Wizard and Arachne Weaver as my magic damage dealers and one of them has slow. Finally, I have Grand Consul Minion as my final monster.
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. Asel will tank some damage while my monsters deal damage, and the slow will help me move faster than my opponent.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match can go either way. My opponent has two melee monsters and they are quite fast so they could wipe out some of my monsters. I do think that the magic monsters that I have are great as damage dealers though.
Round 6

A few rounds later, I am left with 2 monsters, but my opponent only has 1 left. At this point, I don't think there is anything my opponent can do because magic monsters attack first in the turn order.

I won later that round.
Conclusion
The battle did go exactly as planned. My magic monsters were able to win me this match, and that slow did come in quite helpful to ensure my Water-Logged Wizard attacked before my opponent. That allowed me to move first due to the turn order.
You can see my entire match here.
What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

Wow that ruleset is insane, I never got it unfortunately
Since it was introduced,I have gotten it twice. All surviving units gets +1 to their stats(armor, health, speed and attack)at the start of a new round. It takes effect from Round 2 onwards.Great ruleset.

It was a very close game lol, but those magic cards are some of the most powerful I've ever seen in the game. Always stands a better chance again melee.
Eggcelaration ruleset seems to be a very exciting as it makes the match more high octane
