Splinterlands Fourth Season Rewards of 2024, Gladius Packs and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I stayed in Silver rank for most of the season and advanced on the day before the end to get some gold chests. I was able to reach Gold league before the end of the season and it's the last season under the previous reward system. Starting a few days ago, the entire ranked battles got changed up and ranked battles are much harder now.

Season Rewards

Compared to last season, my rewards was better than last season and I did earn 1 more chest compared to the previous season. There were no chaos legion packs again this time and this time, I didn't even get an epic. I did get a gold foil rare card though. The SPS are down while the merits are up. It's a pretty bad result but I still think it ended up decent for the number of chests that I got.

Gladius Packs

I was able to collect 4 packs since the last time I opened packs. I missed submitting my brawl fights earlier this week so the number of packs looks about right. I should have gotten another pack or two if I did submit my matches. I did get a gold foil card though so it wasn't so bad.

I was able to get a new gold foil card to my addition. This could be useful in brawls as I tend to play in the gold foil matches. Unfortunately, this card isn't the greatest because it can't really damage the opponent so the bloodlust isn't that great but it can survive a few hits due to scavenger.

SPS

My SPS rewards were lower and I kind of expected it for my chests. The huge drop in SPS was primarily due to the missed brawl and I think all the values are in line.

My pool reward for the season is 102.328 SPS. I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards for a total of 230.535 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected. I stacked up the VOUCHERS and I did not sell during the wagons earlier this month. So I plan on stacking them for now and waiting for a new opportunity in the future.

Conclusion

The ranking system will be changing and I don't know how that will affect my season rewards. It's too bad and I am already struggling. Maybe things will get better in the next few day. The rewards this time around was slightly better because I was able to get some gold foil rares but I still think it was slightly lacking. Either way, I'll just have to see how things go for the next season.
