Splinterlands Promo Card Vruz

There is a sale going on right now in Splinterlands about the new Promo card Vruz and you can find out more about it in this post. For every 1,000 SPS you have staked, you can buy one VRUZ at the cost of a VOUCHER. Promo cards are rare but I think they are always great cards to have available in your deck. The stats on this card are quick decent for a 2 mana cost dragon card. It comes with the sneak ability and later learns the martyr and true strike ability as you level it up.

How to purchase Vruz

First, you go to the shop and then click the PROMO section. As of right now, there is over 3 days left for you to buy them.

When you scroll down to the button, you can purchase your Vruz cards but you may have to move your VOUCHERS into the game first. I didn't need to because I already did so earlier.

As I had 24k SPS staked, I was able to buy 24 cards and I got 23 standard cards plus one gold foil card for my purchase. It was a pretty good result and I was worried that my luck wouldn't be that great because I was one off from the 25 cards that would guarantee a gold foil card.

Also, a VRUZ currently goes for $0.54 and a VOUCHER goes for $0.30 so if you have staked SPS, you should get a Vruz from the shop. When the sale is over, I also expect the prices to go up and you might be able to get a decent profit.

Vruz in a battle

Here is a battle using Vruz. As I have a gold foil version of this card, it has 1 melee attack, 5 speed, and 2 health. It won't live long when it is targetted but with my setup of inspire, I am able to make this Vruz do a decent amount of damage. If I had more mana, I would go with double inspire but I did what I could with the limited mana available. The rule set is ferocity and I could use any splinter type.

I went with more of a melee lineup and my tank had the void ability. Overall, I think Vruz did a great job but I was also lucky that my opponent didn't kill it off early. The scary combination of martyr and grund was dangerous but I managed to kill before he killed me. I won this match and I am satisfied with how my Vruz was in battle.

Conclusion

I think it is worth it to buy any Vruz you can get due to the price difference from VOUCHER versus it's price. At the same time, I think Vruz is a great as a low mana card to use in your battles. Combined with some other cards, Vruz can be an amazing damage dealer and with it's fast speed, it will generally be able to attack first most of the time.

I had to move my VOUCHER to the in-game before doing the purchase. That was a lucky GF pull for you. Vruz looks like it is going to be an in-demand card in the game for a while, it was selling for $0.51 two days ago and has been rising in price.

VOUCHERS selling for $0.30 now seems to be a good selling time.

I moved it into the game earlier because I was planning to move my earned SPS over to HE but I held off on that when I heard about Vruz. I should go sell those VOUCHERS soon.

So if I have staked SPS and some voucher, I'll get this? Is there some extra cost?

For every 1k SPS staked, you can buy 1 Vruz using a VOUCHER. There is no cost besides the VOUCHER.
