Splinterlands Season 24 rewards of 2023, Gladius Packs and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I stayed in Silver rank for most of the season and advanced on the day before the end to get some gold chests. My plan didn't go according to schedule and I didn't get as many chests as I got in the previous season. It was also a rough end because I was like 250 points away from Gold III. I ended up doing over 40 fights to push myself to gold before calling it a night. It's still less chests than last time but I did what I could.

Season Rewards

Compared to last season, my rewards were worst. There were no chaos legion packs again this time nor were there any legendary or epic cards. There is lessSPS and less merits this time around, but the number of potions that I got increased. Other than a few summoners, I don't think there was anything that great at all in my rewards.

Gladius Packs

I was able to collect 4 packs since the last time I opened packs. My guild was in 3 star brawls for all but 1 of the brawls and the rewards can depend based on my luck in brawls. I didn't miss any brawls this time around but maybe the time between posts wasn't as much. It is a bit weird to see things in this format though because I am used to multiples being represented in one spot instead.

The only card that I could level up is Hugo Strongsword. My card is now level 5 so it now has an extra ability of heal. This means that it could be a fairly decent tank with its shield and bloodlust ability.

SPS

The rewards were slightly lower because I have been losing a lot in modern. I haven't been able to use up all my energy every single day so it tends to overfill. At the same time, my season rewards were quite horrible this time in terms of SPS.

My pool reward for the season is 108.343 SPS. I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards for a total of 234.118 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected. I am still stacking up VOUCHERS but I am not really sure if they will have much uses in the future though.

Conclusion

Going forward, I will be sticking with the Silver League and moving up to gold on the last day. The rewards are slightly better than last time and I think it is pretty good because of the two chaos legion packs. So far, out of 13 claims, 6 of them were good. The quality of the chests does matter but I don't know how things will go because the fights have become more competitive as people rush into modern ranked battles. I haven't been able to reach Gold II in a while and I think it will be extremely hard for me with Rebellion out there. I guess my focus will have to be Gold I
