Splinterlands: Speed is amazing in Bloodmoon
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I saw a battle where my opponent made a mistake with his lineup.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Bloodmoon. This means that all monsters gain the bloodlust ability. There is also 33 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for water.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barthalamas | 6 | Summoner | +1 speed |
| Frankarsgard | 7 | 1st | |
| Chaos Furybringer | 6 | 2nd | Reach |
| Ash Archer | 5 | 3rd | |
| A'lan Musketeer | 8 | 4th | Double Strike |
| Total Mana: | 32 |
My summoner is Barthalamas for the +1 speed. I have Frankarsgard as my tank. After that is Chaos Furybringer as a backup tank with reach. I have ranged monsters Ash Archer and A'lan Musketeer after for damage.
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. Frank has high health, so it can tank quite a few hits, and the rest of my lineup also has increased speed from my archon. So all of that damage will be focused on a single monster to whittle down my opponent and gain some bloodlust damage.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match can go either way, but I have an advantage due to my speed. My opponent has some decent damage and health that I have to go through.
Round 4

A few round later, my opponent is down to 1 monster while I have 3 left. There is no chance my opponent can win because my opponent can't even attack anymore.

I won later that round.
Conclusion
The battle did go exactly as planned. My fast monsters made quick work of my opponent and every monster that I took out also reduced his attackers by 1. This allowed me to slowly whittle down my opponent, and the bloodlust only made my team stronger against my opponent. My opponent made a mistake by using Giam for his second monster since it couldn't attack up front, and my damage just piled in.
You can see my entire match here.
What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

That's a fun ruleset, but I rarely get it
Speed is key in the bloodlust ruleset and you chosing Barthalamas as summoner, granting all allied units +1 speed speed was awesome. Fire decks collection are my favorites after water.Kudos warrior 👏.
