Splinterlands: Swamp Spitter's repair is useful in explosive weaponry
Splinterlands is a complex game, and it allows for various cards and strategies. Each fight is different as there are various rulesets applied, and this can give specific cards an advantage depending on how you use them. In this post, I talk about a great battle where I won because I used Swamp Spitter.
Featured cards

Swamp Spitter is a water splinter that costs 7 mana. This splinter starts off with the repair ability. Leveling it increases its stats, and it also learns Giant Killer at level 6. I use this card quite often in Brawls when I am using water spliter because that repair ability works well with Kelya.
Rule Set, Battle, and Plan

The rulesets this time are Stampede and Explosive Weaponry. This means that all monsters gain the blast ability, and monsters with trample attack until they don't kill a monster. There is also 46 mana available, and I can use any splinter except for fire, earth, and death.
This ruleset is interesting because of the blast ability. You have to consider what works best at staying alive, and you also have to be weary of any trample monsters.
| Splinter | Mana Cost | Position | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kelya Frendul | 4 | Summoner | +1 armor and speed |
| Alva the Crusher | 6 | 1st | Shield and Bloodlust |
| Flying Squid | 7 | 2nd | Reach |
| Demented Shark | 6 | 3rd | Inspire |
| Sand Worm | 9 | 4th | Sneak |
| Deeplurker | 6 | 5th | Opportunity |
| Swamp Spitter | 7 | 6th | Repair |
| Total Mana: | 45 |
My summoner is Kelya Frendul for the +1 armor. My tank is Alva the Crusher with shield and bloodlust. After that is Flying Squid with reach, and Demented Shark with inspire. My other melee damage dealer is Sand Worm with sneak and Deeplurker with opportunity. Swamp Spitter is last for its repair.
The focus of this lineup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and outlasting my opponent. Alva the Crusher will do a great job up top unless my enemy has heavy magic damage, and the repair ability will ensure that it survives longer. The majority of my lineup is melee monsters as I want to deal as much damage as possible when they are buffed by inspire.
Round 1

At first glance, I think that this match can go either way. I do have the speed advantage, but my opponent's tank can be quite deadly once enraged.
Round 3

A few rounds later, my opponent is down to 1 monster while I still have 4. This is my win because my opponent can't attack anymore.

I won that match later that round.
Conclusion
The battle this time did go exactly as planned. My archon boosted my speed, and the extra armor took one hit for my monsters. At the same time, Swamp Spitter repaired the armor on my tank, and that let it survive until the end of the match. The fast and strong melee monsters demolished my opponent.
You can see my entire match here.
What did you think of my match? Was there anything you would have done differently? I think it is quite interesting to see how different players use the same card.

What type of summoner did the opponents use, I don't see any abilities that it added to the cards?
It's a duo life and water summoners so you can use two types of splinters.
The ranged damage and repair ability of the card makes it a great asset to the team
