Splinterlands Third Season Rewards of 2024, Gladius Packs and SPS

The Splinterlands season ended earlier this week so I want to review my rewards and check up on some things in the game. I stayed in Silver rank for most of the season and advanced on the day before the end to get some gold chests. My rewards are lower than last season and that is probably because my win rate dropped and I didn't do as many fights last season. It hurts but I was able to be in Gold III but I was unable to move up to Gold II before the end of the season.

Season Rewards

Compared to last season, my rewards was just as disappointing and I also got 6 less chests as well. There were no chaos legion packs again this time and this time, I didn't even get an epic. The SPS and merits are down as well. I kind of expected it because there were fewer chests this time around.

Gladius Packs

I was able to collect 5 packs since the last time I opened packs. It's more than last time and I think I had better rewards this time around too. 2 epic cards and 9 rare cards from 5 packs is a pretty good result.

I was able to upgrade a card this time around though and it is the Orella Abadon card. I don't really use this card much but it does have sneak and bloodlust. By upgrading this card to level 3, I was able to increase its attack by 1 and I think that makes this card more useful. Also, this card is a 2 mana card so it can be nice when I have an extra gladiator spot available in the ruleset.

SPS

The rewards were lower for everything outside of Brawls. We moved up to 4 star brawls and since we haven't been ranked near the bottom for a while, the SPS is starting to add up. I am glad to see that things were improving because I didn't do so well in ranked battles last season and my season rewards weren't as great. We are still in 4-star brawls so I hope the SPS rewards keep up next season as well.

My pool reward for the season is 105.733 SPS. I plan on staking all of this along with all of my staking rewards for a total of 232.799 SPS. The total SPS was around what I usually expected because there was a lower time between posts. I stacked up the VOUCHERS and I did not sell during the wagons earlier this month. So I plan on stacking them for now and waiting for a new opportunity in the future.

Conclusion

Going forward, I will be sticking with the Silver League and moving up to gold on the last few days. If I can move up early, I will during the last few days. The rewards are slightly worse than last time. So far, out of 16 claims, 6 of them were good. It's unfortunate that moving up early did not help me reach Gold II this season but at least I didn't have to worry about fighting in Silver as much. Even if I lose a lot in gold rank, I am able to at least stay in Gold league.
