My First Week in the Splinterlands (pictures)

Hello Everyone, I wanted to start making some crypto while casually playing a video game. After some research I came across Splinterlands!

_This is me researching, and in the bottom right part of the image is my accountant who is really upset about this. _ " " \"blog1-01.png\""" The next thing I did was found out that I needed to pay 10$ to access the actual game. That's fine, after some research I learned that recovering that 10$ wouldn't take much longer that a couple weeks. I'm 30 years old, so I should be able to recoup that by the time I'm retired at 65.

Real image of me trading imaginary paypal money or an imaginary spellbook, which doesn't really have any spells in it, which is fine.

I started out playing Tyrus a bunch and trying to win. I lost probably the first 20 matches. I was convinced the missing mechanic was a way for the game to make me lose every time.

I eventually started winning with the basic cards when I copied what other people were doing and actually thinking about what cards to use. The game is fun even at this super low basic bronze world. There are so many fun cards, spells, abilities and characters.

Below is my favorite reward that I received so far. "blog1-04.png"

I wanted to transfer some crypto into my account, but Kucoin takes like 30$ to withdraw, so instead I joined some twitch channels https://www.twitch.tv/lyerpald and https://www.twitch.tv/thisisaftersound. Both of whom I've won DEC from! I'm hoping to learn how to rent cards soon so that I can reach 1000 card power to earn some DEC.

100% accurate renderings of the generous streamers.

Have a great day!
