Entering the Gates of Bronze II

After getting the shit kicked outta me yesterday, I got up early before everyone else and before they could even rub their eyes and stretch their sleepy body's, I went ahead and bashed a bunch of fools; some of them deserved it and some didn't, but I wasn't going to take any chances today...
I'M FINALLY OUTTA BRONZE III LOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!
I opened the single chest box from the daily quest...
I have to say some of the battles I've had today were very interesting; my wins helped get me out of the Bronze III Slums...

I collected 5 legendary and alchemist potions during the past few days. Since my progress today is worth a celebration, I decided to test my luck with something...
I walk into one of the local Taverns as I know one of the guys there who runs the place...well...everyone in these Slums knows this guy...I says to him...
"'ey man, you sellin' Chaos packs?"
"Aye. Here, take yer pick out from this here box."
"...hmmm...give me the one on the left, three rows down, next to the one with the sticker..."
And this was my pull...

which I put to work immediately...
So now I have two epics being rented! HOOZAAH!!!
I think i'm gonna hang around these parts of Bronze II, just keep my head down and case this joint. Since I'm new into the card renting game, I might as well sit back and let the cards to the work. I got 5 days to wait til end of season and I ain't about to risk getting slammed back to Bronze III.

How can I rent cards too, I've been losing alot of matches with the cards that came with my spell book purchase.

Well the spellbook gives you access to all starter common and rares in the chaos legion and untamed sets.
What i do is go to the market and buy single cards, which you will often get quite cheaply. I've gotten some good rares and epics, all for under $3 each, sometimes even cheaper.
I then rent them out on the market.
About losing matches, yeah a lot of Bronze players spam the Mylor (i call it the GREEN BASTARDS) build (theres a link on that in my previous post). I've been renting the Lorna Shine summoner and using her to buff up my low mana battles.

Wow that's for the headstart and advice, guess I'll check out the market as well and hopefully get some good cards at a cheap price.

I don't buy Chaos legion packs often, actually only bought it twice. I hear you must buy at least 100 packs to make it worth it. Fuck that, might as well buy single epic/legendary cards.
I'm not into Splinterlands for competitive play, but for the passive accumulation potential. Staking SPS and renting cards is the way for us busy folk.
Keep me posted on your progress man, and hey, look into a up and coming space colonization game called Exode. It's currently in alpha testing, and player base is small (i reblogged a post just a few days ago, you can see on my page). I say you get yourself into this game too.

Yeah there's a lot to this game, but i ain't playing it competatively. Just in it for the passive DEC points from renting cards, and the internal staking system they have, which is at 31% apr at the moment.
Most of my funding for buying cards comes from my earnings via my hive content, so zero start up capital. As an experiment with my whole hive account, the investments are going well!

I didn't check the results link, but from looking at the cards (and i have no idea wtf most of them do)...i would have to say the one with the kitty wins. I watched a game on the leader board about a week ago and remembered seeing someone with that kitty summoner...and he destroyed his opp hard.
Let's see if i'm wrong...

80% of the time, one with the kitty should win the game :)
