Very much this. While I may have taught my sons specific things, mostly what I taught them was how to learn what they wanted to know.

When you discuss here methods to perform as a short man, I was impressed that you deeply pursued your craft, to consider such details I have never really thought about. I am of perhaps average height, and perhaps that explains my failure to consider something more relevant to those at either end of the height spectrum, but that you have well considered this shows you have considered every facet of showmanship.

I agree that teaching is the most effective way to learn the subject.
