Here's the ruleset

My go to summoner for the Up Close and Personal ruleset is Mylor, but the earth splinter wasn't available.

Lineup:

Summoner: Delwyn

image.png

Delwyn buffs all of my magic attacks... which doesn't help at all for this ruleset. Delwyn does give me access to dragon monsters and is still the only summoner that I have leveled up.

Tank: Djinn Chwala

At level 2 Chwala gets 3 melee attack and still has thorns which is a win-win for me.

1st position: Flying Squid

A solid/fast attacker with reach. The squid is excellent and can even take a couple of hits.

2nd position: Disintegrator

This is here to demoralize my enemy's entire team.

3rd position: Demented Shark

This is here to buff my entire team.

4th position: Dhampir Infiltrator

I love the double strike especially when it gets paired with things that buff my Melee attacks. Unfortunately the Infiltrator can't take a hit... or dodge a hit.

Rear tank: Deeplurker

Deeplurker is fantastic. It hits hard where it hurts and can take a hit too.

Did my strategy work?

Yes, This was a great squad that would have worked with a variety of summoners.

Do I like Flying Squid?

Yes. The Flying Squid is an excellent monster that excels in a number of matchups. The body is solid, the speed is solid and the attack is solid.

What will I try differently next time?

There are several summoners that would have been an improvement here, but I didn't have any of them leveled up or rented for this battle.
Dhampir Infiltrator is still a new toy to play with, but I would have been better off with something bigger here.

Thanks for reading and thanks for all the upvotes, reblogs, comments and follows. I'll see you in the game.
