What My HUGE Losing Streak Taught Me (and What It Did NOT)
Hey, everyone! Very new to the game and, well, still learning and figuring it out. I thought I would start a blog for extremely new players since it seems like the majority of the writing on here is geared towards slightly more experienced folks.

Lessons Learned (and NOT Learned)
After playing for a week or so and being able to win enough cards through daily quest chests to rent some out and earn a huge moderate passive income (more on that in a later blog), I was trying to work my way through a Life splinter daily quest and played about fifteen battles before winning one. In the process I worked myself down to a measly capture rate percentage:
Is this mormal? Am I just too new to know that losing many battles in a row is a thing? Or do I just absolutely suck that bad? Probably a little of both. But it did teach me something:
I realize now that this game is not just a game. Blind luck only goes so far and you need to study the cards, learn their abilities, and how to place and use them. This is even true if you plan to earn some money playing the card market to try and make some money that way. Without knowing the game mechanincs and how things work you won't have much success. And this is what I DIDN'T learn during my losing streak:
I haven't been doing that.
That is, I haven't been studying game mechanincs like I should be.
So that's lesson numer one: Study, study, study. (As time allows, of course. We all have lives outside of this game). But as much as you can, learn all you can.
