Splinterlands Art Contest Week 303 / Exploding Dwarf

Hello everyone, I hope all of you are well! This is my submission to the Splinterlands art contest:

Here's how I drew it through a series of pictures:

Adding the base colors! And I know he's bald for now but stick with me through this lol

Drawing the flaming hair/eyebrow/beard/"flame rings" might be my favorite on this artwork.

I usually start with the base color of yellow to make the fire base.

And then I use the soft brush with the color orange on the edges to make it look more flame-like. I just add another layer then use the color white this time to enlighten the flame even more, I usually put it in the middle part of the flame.

Then to make it for "flamey" I just add a layer style of outer glow, this is also what I have done in the lava part of the hammer, and there you have it, finish product!
