I remember the launch and how very much everyone enjoys Splinterlands, not something I ever took to, understand the concept, bug just never bit!

Yeah, I don't think even the game's creators themselves could have anticipated the success this game has enjoyed in the past three years since launch. It definitely exceeded everyone's expectations, and it's going to get better and bigger from here. :)
Thank you, Joan! Haha, I guess this latest Splinterlands expansion dragged me out of hiding from Hive. I miss in-person fests, I loved attending the second one in Lisbon and the fourth one in Bangkok. Cannot wait to travel to a future one, once it becomes possible again.
You, on the other hand, remain a steady and always-present pillar of the Hive community. Thank you for being so active – it's nice to see some familiar faces after a long hiatus. :)
