My Battle With "MOLTEN ASH GOLEM" For Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge

Today I am participating in the Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge for the first time. I started playing this game a few days ago—a great game. I have played many matches and learned something in every match. In the last couple of days, I learned about the melee attack, ranged attack and magic attack. I now know which cards will work for which summoner. This has increased my win rate.

Summoner Choice

Plado Emberstorm
I have taken all the cards of today's match on rent. I have rented a Legendary Fire Summoner named Plado Emberstorm for this weekly challenge. Plado Emberstorm can increase the monster's melee attack, life and speed. So I took this summoner on rent.

Monster Choice

1. Living Lava
I have battled many monsters in the first position, but Living Lava performed the best among them. And because of its shield ability, I put it in the first position. Due to Shield ability, it is less damaged in melee and ranged attacks.

2. Giant Roc
The reason for keeping it in the second position is its reach ability. With Reach Ability, it can attack from 2nd position despite not having snipe or sneak ability. It also has the flying ability.

3. Kobold Miner
Kobold Miner has the sneak ability. So I put this card in 3rd position. It can attack from any place. This card is one of my favourites.

4. Battering Ram

This is an excellent card for only two mana. It has Opportunity ability. Opportunity ability is like sneak ability. Since it can attack from any position, I put it in the 4th position.

5. Serpentine Spy
Serpentine Spy is a great card, but it only has one health. This is a negative aspect of this card. This is a handy card except for the low health aspect. It also has the Opportunity ability, so I placed it in the 5th position.

6. Molten Ash Golem
Molten ash golem is the only ranged attacking card in my battle. And since the Ranged attacking card cannot attack from the first position, I placed it after all the melee attacking cards, which means in the 6th position. This is the main card of today's battle because it is said in the battle challenge that you must share the battle with it.

This is my battle. As a new player, I only have a little experience with the Battle challenges, but I have presented my battle as best I can. I hope everyone will like this battle post of mine.

Key Moment in this battle.

• Round-1
  In the first round, my summoner increased one melee attack of my melee attacking cards and one speed of all my cards. Also, one of the opponent team's cards had life reduced.
  In the first round, two monsters from the opponent team died, and one from my team died.

• Round-2
  Due to Earthquake, both teams' monsters lost two health tests except the Flying ability. Due to this Round of Earthquakes and Attacks, I lost a monster, and the opposition team lost two monsters.

• Round-3
  As a result of the Earthquake hitting again, the Monsters of both groups lose two health.
  In this round, I lost both the opponent team and a monster. And after this round, the opponent team had one monster, and my team had two monsters.

• Round-4
  This was the last round. In this round, the opposition team's monster did not get a chance to attack. It dies before its turn.

In the splinterlands post, I saw that I have to answer two questions. The answers are given below-

1. Did my strategy work?
My opponent was not so powerful compared to my monsters. Because of that, I won the match. But before that, I played some matches with the Molten Ash Golem but couldn't win. But this time, I won the battle.

2. What will I try differently next time?
I want to try to play with the other fire summoner and will select other monsters in my lineup. I already tried, but in most of them, I failed to win.
