1 SPS currently approximate to 1 South African Rand
With lots of opportunities on Hive managing one's funds is increasingly becoming a dilemma one have to deal with regards to which project should one be investing in. Interestingly we are just at the infancy stage of projects on Hive, with the chain being just a little over 2 years old, imagine five years from now with more projects coming up.
Another interesting side is, we are doing quite well and better in some cases than some finance managers out there.
@zakludick shared with me the other he is looking at buying a Splinterlands card, if I remember correctly he said he is saving up for it. So when he got over 5k DEC as rewards I expected him to buy the card he's been saving for but as seen above, he's in a state of contemplation over the card or SPS.
Am sure we can relate with this money management dilemma around here and even worse if you play Splinterlands where the cards are for investments and for fun.
Further one, 1 SPS equivalent to 1 South African Rand chat came up and I was actually surprised he looked at the worth of SPS to Rand.
As at the time we engaged in this conversation 1 SPS at $0.066 was equivalent to R1.11, Today with SPS trading for $0.056 we can see its equivalent in the screenshot below R0.95.
This quite interesting with SPS this low, supposing SPS gets back up to $0.50 we will be looking at 1 SPS equivalent to 8 South African Rand.
Have any anyone else checked SPS equivalent to their national currency? The Rand might be better than some countries, actually 1 SPS equals 25 Nigerian Naira which is simply insane to think about it.
The long term effect as we stack up these crypto can be life changing, the state of things on Hive have never one day crossed my mind to be on the losing side instead I see reason to keep tapping onto the opportunities here, I own just a little over 5000 SPS currently with the goal to keep accumulating.

Currently the cheapest you can get a copy of Regular Living Lave is $6.98, some are selling for $9 and even $40.
I couldn't believe it either, it goes to tell how our fiat money keeps depreciating. I can just imagine when SPS rise to the level of 50 cent of a dollar

Well, no one can imagine how bad it's become with the Nigerian naira. It's totally shit here. Even with crypto's Volatility the naira still can't compete

For interest sake I had to check SPS to Naira and what I saw is disheartening.
I just can't warp my head around how bad the Naira has fallen. I it used to be $1 to around N30 + when I was still in Nigeria.

The Naira at the it is depreciating, it could be worth N700 to the dollar in another year or two, it is sad but becoming a laughable matter internationally considering the wealth Nigeria has.

It is actually mindboggling that the Rand is worth so little, and I think SPS has a much better chance to appreciate in value and then we still have a great APR%
It is Rynow, looking at SPS in relation to Rand, tells us our SPS is of great value and needs to be accumulated more.
I have no doubt SPS will rise above its current price level.

1 SPS is 4.38 INR but 4.38 INR is not good enough for getting a cup of tea in roadside too where it cost at least 10 INR.
I am almost reached my goal of 200K and further accumulation is subject to SPS price relative to Hive (not USD).

Makes sense to even accumulate more SPS than our fiat currencies.
200k SPS is an impressive stake, with that you can generate good passive income from just staking with SPS appreciation in value.

Great and that's aside game play earnings from DEC and card rentals, we are also yet to have the impact of plot in the game, and with your have a node is another added income source, it just gets better and better, the way I see it.

Well, I live in the US so it's easy to see the dollar value and I knew that SPS price would be low. There just isn't enough use cases and the airdrop creates a large amount of SPS.

For the likes of us in countries where the currency performance against the USD is poor, SPS accumulation gives us much more in value compared to you in the States
