My opponent was up for a brutal kill, with two Opportunity monsters MORDEUS being one I dread, and three Sneak monsters with GRUM as Tank was nothing short of trouble for me.

But I got away with a victory in what looked like a dominant manner with the battle in my control as every one of my monsters put up a good account of themselves holding their position with fear of a more powerful opposition.

Let's have a look at how victory was attained.

AGOR LONGTAIL is that beast I throw in front of an opponent to buy some time for me as I attack the opponent as intended, so AGOR led my frontline with Flight, Taunt, and Void Armor abilities. It took quite a few hits and evaded some attacks which was of great help to the team with another Taunt card in the second spot waiting to step up.

Poisoned earlier in the frontline COEURL LURKER evaded some attacks with the help of Dodge ability. It managed to do to distraction for a brief period, which, like ARGOR was a buying time my lineup needed to attack.

High in Health NERISSA TRIDAWN saw the battle to the finish in the frontline with a magic attack, of course, NERISSA is a monster without ability but she is a force to reckon with on the battlefield.

SAND WORM missed an attack on TENYII STRIKER earlier on, thereafter it was a deadly Worm on the battlefield intent on swallowing any monster for as long as they exist.

Huge Sand Worms have always lived in the desert of Draykh-Nahka, but with the recent uncovering of the various Untamed Prophecies, they have mysteriously grown even larger. They have also become more wild and free, somehow discovering how to escape from the Sands of the Dragon Splinter. Although it has never been witnessed, biologists believe that the Worms have learned how to swim. If they have indeed learned to burrow through water like sand, the Splinterlands will suffer greatly from their proliferation. In Mount Mox battle, Sand Worms can swallow monsters of nearly any size with no need to chew. They can even snatch fliers directly from the air, extending out of the ground even higher than the arena walls.

Even with URAEUS'S poison, it didn't stop SAND WORM from swallowing the daredevil.

RIVER HELLONDALE is known for his helpful nature, but when Chaos Legion arrived he took it upon himself to defend the town he loves, HELLONDALE steps in the fifth spot providing Resurrect, and Inspire abilities for the team.

VENARI WAVESMITH suffered a poisonous attack from URAEUS, otherwise, it might have survived the battle. It occupied the backline with Protection ability. A much-needed protection for the team needed and though I lost WAVESMITH it was a victory well orchestrated.
