Quix Takes On Zaku
Zaku remains the deadliest summoner in the game as fearful as it is other summoners and monsters put up the challenge with nothing to lose, Most of the time Zuku proves why he should be feared and not mess with, and sometimes the battle just doesn't go Zaku's way.
Opponent's Summoner | Element | Ability |
---|---|---|
YODIN ZAKU | Fire | +1 Range Attack,+1 Health, Blast |
My Summoner | Element | Ability |
---|---|---|
QUIX THE DEVIOUS | Dragon | -1 Range, -1 Speed |
It was the last day of the just-ended season, and I was on the hunt for more season chest, so the next battle had Zaku most probably showing up against me, so I pulled out Quix The Devious to counter Zaku's power for victory.

DIEMONSHARK is not a Tank to fool around with, the Trample ability at level one is enough to cause problems for the opposing side coupled with Enrage ability from level 4 and it becomes unstoppable at the speed at which it moves. It takes up the frontline leading the attack against Zaku and monsters.
With a speed of 4 TIDE BITER is one of the fastest monsters on the battlefield, being able to attack from the second position with Reach ability and preventing the Blast effect with Reflection Shield ability, it is an I find quite useful in my Water element, and in this battles, it takes up his most suitable position second place.
Going against Zaku without Protection is asking for more trouble, VENARI WAVESMITH in third place brings in Protection ability for friendly monsters gaining +2 Armor.
In fourth place is RIVER HELLONDALE with Resurrect and Inspire ability, the plan is to bring AGOR a second chance should it be eliminated. Though a lot depends on RIVER HELLONDALE not being eliminated before AGOR as BLOOD MAKER can be annoying with the Scattershot ability.
Nothing much is expected of VENATOR KINJO, just occupy the fifth spot in the lineup and prevent the Blast from spreading.
AGOR LONGTAIL in the backline is to invite all attacks possible with Taunt ability as it is capable of taking a couple of damages before possible elimination. With the Flight and Void Armor ability coupled with high Health and Armor, it is not the easiest to get rid of while it also so throws in attacks from anywhere in the lineup.
It turned out to be a strategy that worked dominantly against Zaku.

Quix is a tough card to beat sometimes and that -1 ranged attack really hurts when I am using Yodin.

Yeah, I see it as a good counter for Zaku and with Headwinds ability Zaku can get affected a lot.
