Rise Of The Commons: Orella Hunts Down The Enemy Backline
It had always been Countess Sinash and Fina Voxom when I use Eternan Brune as my Fire summoner, those two opportunity cards make a great combo as we often say in Splinterlands.
But it was Rise of the Commons, which means only Common and Rare cards may be used in battles.
And since am a big fan of gladiators, Orell Abadon made is for a suitable gladiator for this low mana battle.
I will take us through how Orella hunted down the entire enemy backline.
Opponent's Summoner | Element | Ability |
---|---|---|
GRANDMASTER RATHE | Life | +1 Armor/Void Armor/Amplify |
My Summoner | Element | Ability |
---|---|---|
ETERNAN BRUNE | Fire | -2 Armor/Gladiator |

My Lineup
VENARI HEATSMITH made it to my lineup for a perfect Tank with 3 mana cost it is equipped with Void Armor and 4 health at level for which is quite good for a Tank, though I didn't expect it to stay in the lineup for too long it did a great job against the opponent's Time Mage.
In the Second spot in my lineup was ANT MINERS that went on ahead to end with battle with 3 melee attack due to the Martyr boost from Venari Marksrat. The Scavenger ability of Ant Minners made it stay in the fight longer as it keeps increasing in health each time a monster dies.
Perhaps the Voxom effect is playing on my mind and since I couldn't use it due to the ruleset I had SERPENTINE SPY in the third spot with Opportunity ability, unfortunately Celestial Harpy won the fight again Serpentine Spy.
The intention is to give Orella as Martry boost as many as possible, so VENARI MARKSRAT takes up the fourth spot in my lineup with the Martyr ability, it wasn't until the 6th round before it was attacked by the opponent's Celestial Harpy that proved very useful for the opponent, I eventually lost Marksrat in the 8th round giving Ant Minners and Orella Abadon a sweet Martyr boost.
The low mana cost of 2 makes ORELLA ABADON a very useful Sneak and Bloodlust abilities gladiators that I find very useful in low mana battles. At level 3 it has a melee damage of 3 which is awesome for a low mana card with an impressive speed of 3 that increase each time it takes out an enemy.
The low health can be a weakness but when it the bloodlust is triggered and it gets going it's entire stats increases. So a Orella is a very useful gladiator worth utilizing.
At level 5 FIRECALLER offers an impressive range damage of 3 with a speed of 3, basically it is a card with stats that is of great benefit to the team. On a second thought I should have swapped places with Firecaller and Marksrat since they both have 4 health. That would have made Firecaller get more damage done.
So Orella had a great fight hunting down the enemy backline.

Nice win. It was a pretty close match if Orella died.
Thanks yes, it could have gone either way if Orella died fortunately the bloodlust keeps helping it to stay alive.
