Is the Life Splinter that week for Even Stevens ruleset? I doubt it, I have not paid attention to my performance when I use the Life element for Even Stevens ruleset.

I am sure there is more depth and might from the Life element for Even Stevens ruleset as opposed to my opponent's lineup which even with a bit of mistake from me I got away with a victory almost comfortably.

For my opponent Prismologist was the meat to do the blast ability attack and also defend due to the 2 armor it has but that is not good enough for double strike ability cards like Katrelba.

Chaos Dragon created an uncontrollable mess for my opponent but I felt the opponent's backline wasn't solid enough for some resistance.

There are great range of attacking cards in the Life Splinter, but I rarely use Prismologist.
At level 1, it is still a card with so much firepower to offer.

Nice win. I do use Prismologist a few times but I don't use it that much. Katrelba is just too overpowered.
